Come on people, how can you seriously say a deck of tarot cards are demonic? You obviously haven't read anything about the cards, which can be by the way, spiritually uplifting. Maybe their only for people who don't need to believe there is a hell, in order to live a good life?

I refer here to organised religion (eg, the Church) and NOT the inidividual followers, eg, the Christians. So please do not label me intolerant, uneducated or anything else along these lines.

Think of the evidence in support of this claim (note: the claim is not my own but was featured in a University campus publication). Religion of old was used to control the uneducated masses; obedience was born from a fear of hell and a longing for heaven. Money was given to the Church, and still is, on a regular basis. Rival religions are pushed out, gangland style, albiet on a much larger scale...

liberal compared to christians and muslims? It seems to me that they're more liberal in their views and don't seem to be so uptight. They're also more humorous and not as dull and boring. Though there are some very religious jews, it seems that christians and muslims are more dogmatic with their religion. Agree or disagree? ANd im atheist not jewish btw

Do you believe "God Is Love"? If so, then why would God in all of his glory and splendor need a blood sacrifice? Why would he be so full of wrath only a sacrifice would appease him? That implies God is insecure enough that human disobedience would be a threat to his authority, or in some way diminsh him.
