The enemy of souls can also 'remove' an affliction that he himself has caused and then it will appear that a miracle has been performed for eg, in a 'ERROR' faith or persuation which can then deceive many-even the very elect.

Thanks for taking time to think over this and answer.

According to Christianity, if you go to Heaven you will be happy for all eternity and live in a utopian paradise, right? If you go to Hell, you'll be sentenced to pain, suffering, torture, and etc.... for all eternity, right?

So, how could a mother be happy in Heaven when the child she loves more than anything is being tortured in Hell for all eternity?

Seems like this Christian afterlife is impossible.

My parents told me that I'm not allowed to date Black girls because I'm White. Why are they like that?

My parents grew up in the '50s. That probably explains it. No?

I want to ask a question for Christians of denominations and churches. Most Christins are Potestant, Catholic, Orthodox, evangelical, mormon. We were all born into our group or church. We are protestant or mormon because our parents and family has belonged to this group.
Have any Christian questioned their Church? You belong to that church because it is the only one you have ever known.
Why not look to see which is the real church? We need to look for the truth. People in this age, have stopped looking for the truth.

Hey all, I am male, 18 years old and I study acting here in Los Angeles since I was 15. It's my dream to become an actor (screen). I am quite good looking (quite the model type), my height is 5'4" 1/2 (without any shoes and about 5'8 at the very most WITH shoes...), would you say I am short? Do I still have the potentiality to grow taller after 18, even few more inches? Do you think my height will influence the opportunities of being able to get acting jobs here in Hollywood? Serious roles, not a Gary Coleman or a Danny DaVito (with no offense to them...lol)

I've studied for many years to come to this point and now the thought that height could influence my future is bothering me like hell... What do you people think? Do you have any advince? Thank you for taking time to read!

In my dream we were on the phone talking. I was looking at something hanging on the wall. It seemed to be a newspaper/magazine article. He was on the other end yelling at me. He kept asking me who I had been with and things like that. I kept saying nobody why don't you trust me etc. What does this mean?We are not even together, we are just friends.

I believe that when a sinner gives their heart , soul and indeed entire life in surrender to God and then gets baptised, this indeed is a miracle. But have YOU had another type of miracle happen to you recently, or does God not operate in this way anymore on the basis that the bible is evidence enough for all to be able to believe in Him and be saved and we have improved technological findings and medical pratitioners and counsellors etc to turn to - who God has provided.
Do you have a testimony or experience you care to share?

Thanks
In love

It's my understanding that the bible says that the rainbow was created following the Great Flood as a sign of his new covenant with Noah and mankind. (bible verses below)

My question is this:
The passage makes it clear that the rainbow was *first* created after the flood... meaning that rainbows did not exist before this time.

Of course, that is based on reading the passage literally.

Is it the Christian belief that rainbows didn't exist before the time of Noah?
Or is this part of the bible really an analogy, and not literally true? (Is the flood story & rainbow thing really more like a parable?)

From Genesis 9:
And God said, This [is] the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that [is] with you, for perpetual generations:
And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

I'm just wondering if centaurs have two spines, two stomachs, etc. because if you look at the picture on this site: http://www.gallerythe.org/artist/olivier/centaur.jpg you see that a centaur basiclly has a human and a horse torso...I don't know what Greeks had in mind when they came up with these creatures ;)

As much as I despise their ideals and their methodical forcefulness.... Why don't the other "Christian" Religions offer up a free scripture for someone who is a border-line believer, in order to "Help" persuasiveness? Rather than charge monetary values for everything from a piece of paper, to the Scripture, to getting a Hi-Tech system (Cameras, projection TV's, computer software, amps, 5-piece Band) for the sermons. Isn't there more to be gained from getting back to the basics and "Practicing what you Preach"?
