According to law all my kids will be Gods Chosen People and I will be the father of those GCPs.

There will be no need to send them to Church, teach them New Testament etc. Complete peace of mind, what do you think?

In movies, people yap away on their cell phones like there is no movie going on. While driving on the highway at dangerous speeds in their BMW or expensive SUV, people talk on their cell phones whipping in and out of lanes. On college campuses, people carry on private conversations at public volume and talk right outside classes or even worse proclaiming in a speaking voice that you 'got DP'd last night' (a girl in my college's library actually said this at a room level speaking voice in a crowded room, I'm only assuming the worst to its meaning).

I'm sick of hearing people's trivial conversations in public places, annoying ringtones like the BeeGees, people speaking louder into their phones than they would if the other person were physically present and people slamming their cells down on the table like they are Old West era gunslingers at a saloon.

I don't know if it is bush's fault, but there is an obvious anti high level prejudice out there. This world is getting more sick all the time. There is discrimination against the poor, miserable looking etc. Why is Paris Hilton on the t.v. because she is nice to look at. The mexican t.v. shows stories about love , with GOOD LOOKING men and women, not love in the ghetto. Even India videos put nice looking people on the cover. There will come a time when the LOW levels will destroy the good in the world. If the u.s did not let in the middle east people, we would not need to spend BILLIONS on police . The terrorists are HERE waiting. Why can't these people fix thier country?

noahs ark and somson and delilah.

noahs ark is a made up story if the world was flooded to the mountain tops then where did all that water go? and it is impossible to collect two of every animal on the planet and put them on a giant ark that would be impossible to build with just a few people. and if noah and his family were the only ones who got on the ark that means every one else would be dead.

and about samson and delilah just relize how silly the whole thing sounds.

A man goes to a shop, picks up a beautiful cup and says "my god this cup is so beautiful" and suddenly the cup starts talking to the man. The cup starts saying "O man, I am beautiful right now, but what was the state of my being before the pot-maker made me a beautiful pot?

Before I was sheer mud and the pot-maker pulled me out of the mud from the mother earth and I felt why that pot-maker is so cruel, he has separated me from mother earth. I felt a tremendous pain. And the pot-maker said, "Just wait." Then he put me and churned me, when I was churned I felt so giddy, so painful, so stressful, I asked the pot-maker "Why are you so cruel?" the pot-maker said, "Just wait." Then he put me into a oven and heated me up, I felt completely burnt. There was tremendous pain and I asked the pot-maker "Why are you so cruel?" and the pot-maker said, "Just wait."

Then he poured hot paint on me and I felt the fume and the pain, I again asked the pot-maker "Why are you so cruel?" and the pot-maker said, "Just wait." Then again he put me into an oven and heated it to make me more strong, I felt life is so painful hence pleaded the pot-maker and the pot-maker said, "Just wait." And after that the pot-maker took me to the mirror and said, "Now look at yourself". And surprisingly I found myself so beautiful.

When god gives us lot of trouble, it appears god is very cruel but we need patience and we have to wait. When bad things happen to good people, they become better and not bitter.

So all difficulties are part of a cosmic design to make us really beautiful. We need patience, we need understanding, we need the commitment to go through in a very calm and wise way. So all difficulties are not to tumble us but to humble us.

With this understanding, let us not be against difficulty. Understand difficulty is a part of a purifying process. A purifying process at present which we cannot understand and hence we need faith and we need trust.

Let us understand how to handle stress with this background. You can be affected by stress from two angles. There is an internal stress and there is an external stress. Nobody can avoid stress; one has to only manage stress. Managing stress can be internal and also external.

The internal stress is; your thoughts can create stress, your values can create stress, and your beliefs can create stress, meaning thereby your stress is coming from your mind more from the outer world. Many people suffer not from heart attack - they suffer from thought-attack.

For example, when somebody says you are an idiot, we get so hurt, we get so victimised. My boss has called me an idiot and I am feeling tremendous pain. Now where does this stress come from? If my boss has called me an idiot, I have to ask myself "am I an idiot"?

If I am an idiot nothing to be upset about; and if I am not an idiot, then also nothing to be upset about! It is the perception of the boss. But why do we suffer from that stress? I suffer not because my boss has called me an idiot but because of the thought-attack.

I may say the boss has called me an idiot; therefore I am suffering? It is true that the words are unpleasant. But what hurts is the interpretation of the unpleasant word. The thought in me interprets. That is pain and therefore it becomes pain. Much of our stress is our mind interpreting it as pain. So we suffer from thought-attack more than heart attack.

It's a cross between "apathy" and "theist." In other words, actually don't care about God or religion. My brother and I thought we invented it for him, but some other people we've encountered online also thought they invented it. It's not atheism or theism; it's just not thinking it has much bearing on real life and not caring to think too hard about it.

So, that sound like you or someone you know? Just curious.

If we assume the universe was created, then it’s reasonable to assume there was a creator. That’s as far as science has progressed today, but just look how far religion has progressed.

Religion states (fact) there was a creator called God, that God still exists, God also created places called Heaven & Hell, God wrote an instruction book called the Bible, God will banish evil people to Hell, God will send good people who follow the Bible to heaven, that people referred to in the Bible (like Jesus) will return to Earth, and a whole raft of other statements of fact. That’s right, religious fact, not assumptions. Sadly, it sounds more like mental illness.

The Bible is the biggest load of garbage and codswallop ever written by man, and I’m sure it will go down in history as the greatest load of gobbledygook ever to inflict such traumatic mental and physical damage on humanity, but still today, some people sadly believe the Bible to be true. That’s very sad indeed. Very sad.

I am an Assyrian Christian from Iraq. I have lived in America all my life. I've lived in Detroit and it's suburbs which are two totally different cultures. In Detroit I was treated well but there were some situations where I was treated differently for not being black but nothing really major. My problems arose when I moved to Warren, MI where it's predominantly white. I was treated terribly and called all sorts of names like Sand Ni**er, Camel Jockey, and all sorts of other insults. I know the government considers us White but I never felt that way. I always felt like a minority. I've also lived in Warm Springs, Georgia where it's fairly multi-ethnic and I was treated greatly by both blacks and whites. I noticed it (hostility ) to be common in places where it's a white majority. They seem to look down on minorities. That is my impression. I've been to many cities across the US and that has been the case. In the case of Mexicans they think I am Mexican so that's never been a problem.

I'd like to ask this of fellow Christians. I can't see why the idea is upsetting- especially if you believe God created the union of marriage. Why should His only son not be allowed to marry and have children like everyone else?
If you believe Mary gave birth to Jesus as a Virgin woman, then why not that Jesus may have married? Is it who he may have married or the simple idea of a marriage?
