I am married (to a man) and in the prosses of divorce. I really like a lesbian pal of mine. We have gone out a few times we have had sex. I am always the one who calls or asks about going out. When I ask her if she wants me to persue her or to leave her alone she says she wants to date me and she wants me to call her. If it is always my idea to go out, is she really interested or is she just being nice? I feel like I am chasing someone who would rather be left alone even tho she denies it. What do you ladies think?
HELP!

Eg: GWB(PODUS) says: "America is a nation under law".
Bible says: "ye are not under the law, but under grace".

Isn't it foolish(Galatians) to draw back to perdition(law), especially after being "delivered from the law"(Romans 7:6), and as if in answer to prayer: Our Father, "deliver us from evil" (Mt 6)?

And even if they were under the law, isn't it against the law to pre-emptively war and kill thy neighbor rather than love thy neighbor?

I don't know what to believe anymore & it's driving me crazy. What is the TRUE religion? IS there a true religion? I feel the need to believe in SOMETHING, but the "people of the book" (Jews, Christians, Muslims) have caused more death & destruction throughout history than anyone else. I know of all the other "world" religions & the lesser religions (wicca, etc). Please do not answer in an attempt to convert me. Don't just tell me I need Jesus, etc. I need real answers. Please answer in detail.

Do you Agree or Disagee? All serious answers welcome.

Definition of Strife :Heated, often violent dissention; bitter conflict.
Strugge, fight or quarrel.
Contention or Competition between Rivals
Lack of Agreement or Harmony

So, with the definition established...

As a Christian do you think that when god is working in your life there will always be someone that will try to cause confusion and Strife so as to try and conflict with your faith?

Do you think that a lot of athiests on this board do just that?

In Genesis 13:14 God Rewarded Abraham for ridding himself of confusion... So in essence.. when we as christians get rid of the strife and confusion in our life we are opening the door to blessings from God?

Do you agree? Why?

Do you disagree? Why?

**side note** If you are an athiest or non believer or from another religion and have an opinion on this it is most welcome however if you start getting rude or nasty you will be reported :)

Assuming that there is no such thing as predestination, and that we are given a chance to do everything "our way", how can we tell if what we happen to be doing at any given point in our life coincides with God's wish/plan/purpose?

My sons friend just gave me a fresh fig off their fig tree. I have only eaten dried figs in my lifetime and have never even seen a fresh fig before....I peeled it and ate it...sooo very sweet and good tasting! I began to think of Bible account of Adam and Eve covering themselves with the leaves of a fig tree. Could a fig be the forbidden fruit the bible speaks of? Where the idea of it being an apple come from?

Sure there are stories and books about the subject. Hell, even a couple of million people throughout history have claimed they were god or god's messenger. But there has never been any proof of god's existence EVER (And by proof I mean an event witnessed by more then a handful of people that proves god's existence and has been documented by reliable sources).

And people still believe in god. What's up with that? Is it stupidity? Ignorance? Fear? What makes people sacrifice their time for something they will NEVER get anything back from in this life (i.e. going to church, saying prayers etc). I really want to know why the majority of people on Earth and throughout history did these things when they could've done so much better with their lives like devote that time to bettering some other aspect of the world instead of the selfishness that is religion.

Im starting a religious blog and this is going to be the summary to it. Does it sound good, anything need to be tweaked. Would you read it based on the description?

Religion was supposed to fade away as globalization and freedom spread. Instead, it's booming around the world, often deciding who gets elected. And the divine intervention is just beginning. Join in as try to be as unbiased as possible while diverging through recent religious happenings around the world and in your own backyard.

Why can everyone become a so called 'pastor'? Why do you have to pay lots of money to enter a church? , Some ministers are filthy rich because of this , and the biggest hypocrites, ever.

Did Jesus charge money for his teachings?

Don't you see how hypocritical this is? there basicly teaching the word of God, only to become rich and thats it.....
