How does this effect how you see your place (and humanities) in the universe?

What is the problem with the view that is contrary to your point of view?

I have had it up to here with his racism, sexist stuff, etc.
I'm tired of it and it's time for the people who have been effected by his stupidity, to give him a piece of their minds.
I think he's a coward! Why won't he show his face, or let people e-mail his happy @ss?
Who's with me?

When it comes to ancient Egyptian, Greek or Roman gods no one believes in them anymore so everyone is atheist to those gods. And any god today that isn't from your region you don't believe in so that makes you an atheist to those gods too. So everyone is an atheist it’s just some of us go 1 god further. Why don't you?

the findings of goddess related artifacts that are older than anything found supporting a monotheistic religious thought?
My understanding is there is evidence of goddess worship (based on earthly/nature-related) events, then, as humans became aware of the universe, masculine figures appeared...Male & female gods/goddesses were worshipped-then some religions resorted to entirely male dominated religions. Aren't Baal and/or Beezlebub names for gods that existed before and in the same area as where Judaism/Christianity/Islam started?

What of the concept of a "learning god"? One who maybe screwed up a few times in the Old Testament and had to get a good talking-to from various prophets along the way? I learned of this concept from a Rabbi and it just fits so well! God created us in his image -- we assume physical but why not also mental? Did he create us as imperfect beings becasue he too is that way?

I think evolution was happening admist the 7-day creation story, which we really don't know when it happened or how long it really was. I find no reason why evolution and the big bang should conflict w/ the bible, because they are well supported scientific theories. Yet, as a christian I know that God is in control of his creation and that science merely goes into MUCH more detail about God's creation, while the Bible focuses on our salvation> agree??

Im going through a bad spell in a relationship with somebody i care very deeply for and am not sure about what will happen if im baptized. I feel that being baptized will be the greatest thing to ever happen to me but i could also lose this person from my life. Is this a test of faith from Heavenly Father and Jesus? I have prayed for a solution and an answer but have yet to find any comfort.

It seems to me that when with people you tend to act differently than when you're alone. Also, people act/react differently with different people. But your true self emerges when you're alone, which no one sees. What do others think? (Not sure which caregory this should be in)???
