It seems to me that when with people you tend to act differently than when you're alone. Also, people act/react differently with different people. But your true self emerges when you're alone, which no one sees. What do others think? (Not sure which caregory this should be in)???

Either way. I am myself under all conditions. It doesn't derve NOT to be yourself--people are going to dislike you regardless. That's fine by me there are people I don't like. It takes a whole lot less effort to be yoursewlf, and you're a whole lot happier.

I used to try to be what others wanted me to be and it was just a pain in the butt, and I was pretty damn unhappy. So I decided to say "screw it" and throw caution to the wind, and I haven't been sorry.
