When arguing with many christians, they seem to be able to make quotes from Leviticus to back up an arguement, but ignore the passages directly surrounding it. How can they claim to follow just one verse and not the others and still say they are following all of God's laws?

Hi,

I have a question about etiqutte when resigning from a job.
Recently, I've tendered my resignation and have requested for early release.

The notice period is normally 1 month, I gave 10 days. My contract allows for giving the full notice or payment to the company.

My job is not a difficult one and I have 2 other colleagues who can take over my role. I have volunteered to return during weekends to do a handover to them and have also said that they are welcome to call me at anytime. In terms of workload.. we have about 10 people on the team and my colleagues don't mind my leaving early.

My manager is unhappy with this though. And I would like to ask if what I've done is proper etiqutte?

Thanks

In fact it took a vote, called by Emperor Constantine at the Council of Nicea (167 votes for and 157 against) to merge two brothers, Judas Khrestus and Rabbi Jesus into one person and then deify him. This bit of literary shenanigans finally gave christianity a god.
An earlier attempt in 210 "AD" failed to do this.
And after this, any and all references to these two brothers, who led a Jewish revolt agains the Romans in Judea, were ordered gathered up and destroyed. In fact the destruction was so complete that only one copy of the oldest known Old testament (the Sinia Bible) remains. It is housed in the British Museum to this day.
And those that study that bible and any modern copy will tell you that there are a staggering 14000 differences between the two. And we're supposed to believe that this is the word of god?
Come on guys, have the courage to admit that you worship a fictional character.

I'd like to live off of the land, similar to the American Indians. I intend to travel as necessary sustain myself and my family (wife and two children). I'd like to hunt animals, make our clothing and shelter out of things around us and eat only what we kill and gather. Is this possible anywhere in the United States?

God played practical jokes on Jesus Christ. Like when he said he who is free of sin cast the first stone and then god threw a stone at the woman and hit her. That would be hilarious.

My question regards sexual ambiguity. With all the intolerance and hatred of gays and lesbians, where does the sexually ambiguous fall into religion? The sexually ambiguous who have both male and female genitalia can choose to be either sex. Are they going to hell for this? If they choose to be with a woman, is that wrong? If they choose to be with a man, is that wrong? Although it isnt common, some sort of ambiguity occurs in 1 in about 5000 births.

Government policies should enforce “Thou shall not kill” I am with you there, although…. what if that is God’s plan for you? What then? Are you going against what he has planned for you?
A topic for another question, what I am asking here is government voting on morality such as homosexuality and the stem cell debate. If there was a vote (and I think stem cell is it) that called into your personal views would you then say our Government shouldn’t be voting on our morals? I mean there are Christians on BOTH sides of this fence…
What do you think?

If God is all-seeing and all-powerful and he is against abortion THAN WHY HAS HE NOT COME DOWN TO EARTH HIMSELF AND TELL US TO STOP ABORTIONS

If you tell me Jesus did this, I will accept that surely, but apparently this message didn't take. SO IS IT GOD'S INTENTION THAT EVERY BABY THAT IS ABORTED BE ABORTED?
