Should we act silly all day, throwing feces on the wall; is it ok that I ask serious questions of a serious adult adience?
Should I go back to being the stupid clown, saying atheists is this your god, and have a link to a stupid half man half ape image?

Being silly every now and then is cool... but all day? Come on... ask some serious questions. If they don't like it, then they need to learn to skip over your questions. Bunch of whiners.

There is a time and a place for everything. Maybe some people need to learn the difference. There can exist a proper balance when people use their intelligence for more than a mockery of what others think and believe.

Dude, I have enough "seriousness" in my life. You can be intelligent and have fun too, and being silly is OK from time to time. Throwing feces is gross, but if it works for you.... God bless. Why does it have to be either/or? Humor and satire are intelligence personified. I think the debate rages and humor is diffusion. I ask and answer both serious and humorous questions. Humor is sanity, if we take that out of the equation are we merely then intellectuals with a “holier than thou” attitude. Humor makes us human and gives us the ability to cope with topics that are too difficult to bear.

jim_darwin, you are my friend. Personally, I don't think we should worry about what they think and instead of throwing feces at the wall, throw the feces at them. I know you just want to have intelligent conversation, but I don't think you will find it here....
