Old testement
Exodus 21:20-21
And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

Leviticus 25:44-46
Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession. And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever

New Testement . . .
1 Timothy 6:1
Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.

So many people say that... I just saw a little quote about God 'will have a tear running down his cheek because it will be too late'.

Isn't this a little bizarre? Why would he be sad as he condemns people to hell? Why not just, say, not condemn them?

It reminds me of the mother saying 'This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you'...

Do you know any other GOOD ones? The more the merrier! :)

Thanks.

For those of you who believe gay is a choice; do you also believe hetero marriage is a choice? Of course it is! So , in your hetero mind, why is it that a gay person can make one choice and not another? And isn't that what being a HUMAN BEING is about - making choices...whatever they are?

I think all heteros are fakers CHOOSING a lifestyle that is not natural. Natural would be NOT getting married and f*cking everyone you find attractive. (You know you would if you could and there were no diseases)

FACE IT , heteros have chosen their lifestyle.

P.S. I am sorry you are unattractive and have chosen or defaulted into being straight, but don't punish the rest of us who are good looking. Haters.

Who amongst believers, stand amazed to see the Holy Spirit place the same scriptuers on our hearts today. I can type an answer, and several other people post the same things. Just shows you how God's word is true today, as when he told Jeremiah " Worry not what to speak, I will place the words on your tongue."

It's weird having a conversation with someone when they start talking about Christian things. One example would be, "Don't worry, when the Lord comes back everything will be right." Another example, "Don't worry, son, it was God's will that he/she died."

It's not needed. Why do people feel the need to belong in order to feel good?

Leading a God life and denying God's existance is better than leading a medicore life and praising a myth.

Why would anyone follow outdated dogma and allow themselves to be lead like mindless sheep?

I noticed women are very sensitive when the word "virgin" is even mentioned. I think women losing their virginity to the wrong man can make them crazy.

For me, I had just left an abusive relationship and my life was on the line. My husband had a gun out and was going to shoot me. I ran...and got on a plane to San Fran. On the plane I was shaking uncontrolably and looked out the window...we were above the clouds...the beauty of what I was looking at just flooded me until nothing else was there...peace filled me. I heard myself say, "God, if you're really there...I put my life in Your hands. I've failed miserably at everything...I can't do it anymore." And then I finally started crying. The sobs came from deep inside me, all the repressed fear, hurt, pain came flooding out. And then I heard a gentle whisper in my head..."I've always had you...you've never been out of my sight...I even saw you when you tied your first shoelace." And then it was like a liquid warmth filled me. I thought I would melt into oblivion. It was like I had given Him my mess, and He would give me His help. And He did.

Well, last night i had this one weird dream. It felt like I could go in other people bodies and possess them. It was damn crazy. when i woke up, it didnt really feel like a dream, and it felt real. I think I got high on the sugar I ate last night. I don't really know if this should be a question or not, but I just decided to type it up on here.

That we evolved from microbes.
And when you die it just go's black and thats it?
I cant blame you for not beliveing in the church and their historically corrupt behavior but there is a god, surpreme being man in charge or what ever you want to call him.
I had died in a pool for 20 minutes and was revived to tell of my experence.
I came back less religous and more spiritual church was not important to me but I understood the spiritual realm does exist there is a god and it's a beautiful loving experence.
