So many people say that... I just saw a little quote about God 'will have a tear running down his cheek because it will be too late'.

Isn't this a little bizarre? Why would he be sad as he condemns people to hell? Why not just, say, not condemn them?

It reminds me of the mother saying 'This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you'...

I'm sorry but nothing here makes any sense to me. Genuinely. 'It is not God's will that they go to hell'? Come on, what does this mean?

'He wants to save us but we send ourselves to hell'?

I'm sorry. I'm really, really trying here. But none of this makes any sense whatsoever. And I consider myself a well-educated man. I guess that's the problem...

"God has no choice but to punish sin"? Nonsense. If God made the rules, then he can break 'em.

People who claim that God exists are funny. People who claim to know what God wants are annoying. People who claim that God actually has limits -- well, that's beyond ridiculous.

This God sounds more and more human every day.

God gave us free will.

Ask yourself what you've done with your free will: Have you ever lied, stolen anything or used God's name in vain (blasphemy)? Ever dishonored your parents?
If you've answered "yes" to these questions, then by your own admission, you're a lying, thieving, blaspehemous person who has not honored the parents God has given you. That was just 4 of the10 Commandments, and there are 6 we haven't even gone through yet. Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment, when you're judged by a perfect God? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty and the consequence is Hell. That's not God's will.
He provided a way for you to be forgiven. He sent His Son to take your punishment by dying on the cross. We broke the Law, but Jesus paid our fine. If you turn from your sins and trust in Him, He will grant you everlasting life.
God's sorrow will be because we have free will and consciences, and yet we knowingly sin against Him. He provided a way for us to escape Judgment, yet many of us choose not to be forgiven because we love our sin too much. And that is a tragedy that would make anyone feel sorrow.

God has already condemned mankind ("death") to "hell" or the common grave Sheol since the original pair Adam and Eve sin. "The wages of sin is death."

At the same time he gave us a promise. That promise was that he would provide us with a ransom. The very first prophesy in the Bible was at Genesis 3:15 "And I shall put enmity between you (Satan) and the woman (those faithful to God) and between your seed (all unrepentant sinners and fallen angels and demons) and her seed (many generations later Jesus). He (Jesus) will bruise you (Satan) in the head (a death blow) and you (Satan) will bruise him (Jesus) in the heel (a non-lethal blow).”

You see God wants all of us to come to repentance and turn back from sin. He does not want to condem anyone, but like any loving father he will discipline those he cares for. He showed that through out the Bible by disciplining the Israilites many times when they failed to follow his commandments.

Today we need to know that God really does care about us and what he requires of us to avoid the punishiment that is coming to mankind shortly.

The links to the two articles below will give you insite into
"Does God Really Care About Us?
and
"What Does God Require of Us?"

WHAT'S BIZARRE IS THAT SO-CALLED QUOTE. I'VE BEEN READING A LONG TIME AND I'VE NEVER CAME ACROSS THAT ONE BUT ANYWAY. WHY WOULD THE FATHER BE SAD ABOUT THE WICKED GETTING THEIR JUST DESERTS. IF SOMEONE COMMITS A CRIME WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW, ARE THERE NOT CONSEQUENCES BEHIND ONES ACTIONS? SHOULD THERE NOT BE CONSEQUENCES FOR BREAKING THE FATHER'S LAWS. SO IF YOU ARE WORTHY OF DEATH, YOU WILL DIE AND IF YOU ARE WORTHY OF ETERNAL LIFE, YOU WILL GET ETERNAL LIFE. THE FATHER WILL SEE TO ALL PEOPLE, INCLUDING HIS OWN, ARE PUNISHED FOR THEIR WICKED DEEDS. IF YOU'RE A MOTHER AND EVER HAD TO PUNISH YOUR CHILDREN, THEN THE STATEMENT YOUR MOTHER MADE, WOULD MAKE PERFECT SENSE TO YOU BECAUSE WHEN OUR CHILDREN MAKE A DECISION THAT'S CONTRARY TO WHAT YOU KNOW TO BE BEST, IT HURTS AND IT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'VE FAILED AT PARENTING. HOWEVER, IT HURTS MORE THAN THE CHILDREN KNOW BUT YOU NEED NOT SHOW IT. HOPE THAT HELPED! 8^)

You have the right idea when you mentioned the mother punishing her disobedient child. God loves us just as any parent should love their own child. When that child is disobedient, correction is needed. That always makes the parent sad to have to punish the child for their bad acts or choices. However, if no correction is made, then no learning takes place. Therefore, God has to chastise or correct His children in order for those children to learn from their mistakes. We suffer for our sins so that we can repent and be welcomed back into His presence. I am deeply saddened when my children mess up and I am pleased when they make good choices. God is the same on a much higher level.

Because when you had the chance to accept Him as your saviour and Sovereign ruler you ignored it And now it's TOO LATE! That's why He cries! He Loves you no matter what you do! It clearly says in the Bible That When Jesus was Walking the earth He went To The tax collectors House, He saved Prostetuits, and HE even Forgave a MURDERER His sin's The Day He hanged from the cross For Our sin's! May God Bless you and your family

You are a bit bitter aren't you. God doesn't wan't anyone to go to hell but he does give us a choice. A lot of people are just too darn smart. They don't "need" God because they have themselves. Then over time they become bitter, resenting God or denying him because everything is His fault. We all have free will, to choose a pardon from God or say forget it God, I don't need your mercy. Well God is sad when people turn away from his gift of mercy and CHOOSE hell. There are only two choices and people don't want to hear that but God demands they hear it. Choose Jesus and life or deny him and get the eternity in hell that we all deserve.

Yes, but a person condemns themselves because of Rejection To GOD"S Directions! GOD Puts the Plan Out There and It's up to You To Follow It!...So you Have No One To Blame But Yourself!.....

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 1 Peter 3:9

God gave his best to save humanity, he gave Jesus. That must have hurt him deeply. It must be even more hurtful when people reject what he has done for them.
No-one will go to Hell because God wants it but because that is their choice. This will sadden the father-heart of God.

Yes, it will be sad to Him because the Word says that it isn't His will that any should perish! We condemn ourselves to Hell by not following the plan of salvation and embracing our spiritual relaiotnship with God. He merely confirms that fact on Judgment Day.

I don't think God cares one way or another. It created the rules for Itself and just keeps on adhering to them. In a parallel Universe the set of rules is different - and It adheres to them as well. I tend to think of God as an engineer rather than a parent. Call me a disbeliever - it still makes more sense to me.
