I just want to let everyone know that I am in NO way pushing Christ on anyone. You all are taking it the wrong way....How are the lost going to find Christ if we don't tell them? It's obvious. I pray that all of you Christians get on fire for the Lord. He IS coming back someday soon, and I don't think any of you want to have to answer to Christ by telling Him why you didn't share the Gospel.

Whenever I question Creationism, bible-thumpers say evolution couldn't exist because God created the heavens and the earth and Adam and Eve, just like it says in the bible.

Whenever I point out something *wrong* with the bible, they say I'm reading it "out of context."

It can't be both. For either arguement to work, it has to be exclusively one or the other.

Why do they do this?

Maturity level is not, in my opinion measured by how we ask and answer questions on yahoo. To some the internet is a big joke to have fun with. To others it is a living essence meant o be treated with respect.

At what point does a measuremnt of maturity come in. For instance, when I am on here I am trying to be as funny and crazy as possible because to me it is fun to see wierd responses. In real life I handle all the information for my state. Would I be here if I had no maturity? I think people are taking the use of these forums which I might add (none of us own) to seriously. Reporting people, becoming hostile, spewing beliefs, downing people because they dont use spell check. Wow. I have only been playing with it for two weeks and I can assure you this is the end. I just wanted to say to all you out there GROW UP YOURSELF EVERYTHING DOESNT HAVE TO BE SO SERIOUS OR LEFT OR RIGHT live a little.

please don't say "a little of both". that is a contradiction. (the "Y. E." stands for "young earth", so you can't rightly believe in darwinism which claims the earth is over 4 billion years old AND ALSO believe in Y. E. creationism which claims the earth is under 10,000 years old.)


i'm trying to conduct a survey here. supposedly 44% of people believe that the earth is 10,000 years old or younger.

I am appalled with the western understanding of my religion. First of all, many christians think we are devil-worshipping polytheists. But we only have three main gods, Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva. And besides, we believe that they are the same god in different forms. Sounds familiar? This same format is used in christianity in the triumverate. Also, people think that we all abide by the caste system and that it is so wrong blah blah blah. In our social studies book it says about two lines about the actual country and it spend 4 lines talking about the caste system. WTF??? In the west, just a half century ago, there was the same class system, the aristocrats/wealthy, the middle class workers, the poor, and slaves/wage slaves. The same is apparent in feudalism but we as hindus get all of the hate. Lastly, people come up to me and say oooo you worship cows. Hahahahaha!!!
Hindus dont worship cows/monkeys, we just believe that all animals have lives too. So Why do you hate us???
