Maturity level is not, in my opinion measured by how we ask and answer questions on yahoo. To some the internet is a big joke to have fun with. To others it is a living essence meant o be treated with respect.
At what point does a measuremnt of maturity come in. For instance, when I am on here I am trying to be as funny and crazy as possible because to me it is fun to see wierd responses. In real life I handle all the information for my state. Would I be here if I had no maturity? I think people are taking the use of these forums which I might add (none of us own) to seriously. Reporting people, becoming hostile, spewing beliefs, downing people because they dont use spell check. Wow. I have only been playing with it for two weeks and I can assure you this is the end. I just wanted to say to all you out there GROW UP YOURSELF EVERYTHING DOESNT HAVE TO BE SO SERIOUS OR LEFT OR RIGHT live a little.

Maturity would also be in knowing that there are literally thousands of people answering these questions, and therefore there will be a large scale of different reactions. Because you are using the internet for your "fun" part of life, doesn't necessarily mean that someone else will be. Maybe to some, they feel to answer with anything other than how they feel about a question, or to not take the time to use spell check is even worse than someone telling them not to be so serious. Anyhow, whose to know just who actually is asking a serious question and some of us are taking it as a joke. I think it is you that needs to lighten up a little :-)

I think it depends on the maturity of the asker. Some children here have no mentors or parents they can turn to for real answers to confusing situations. I do enjoy the fun answers. It's difficult to figure out the seriousness of the asker, but I like to think I helped someone just in case they really were serious. Not everyone has your knowledge and wisdom. Share some of it. Have a great day.

I agree some people on here have their under ware in a bundle! I can give some off the wall answers and I like the sing alongs. But some questions deserve a serious answer those I treat with respect, others are just plain painfully dumb. Before you go click on government&politics, scroll down to law-enforcement& police and have some fun!

I don't mind funny responses. I don't report people for not using spell check - I don't use it myself. But there have been some questions and answers here which have been inappropriate. I only report a few that are obscene or that seem filled with violent insults (one word or even two is not enough). We all have our moods to deal with.

If anyone has to use a free forum to figure out what to do with their lives or to find out if they are gay or straight, they cannot possibly be offended by humorous answers. It is absurd to look for serious answers to life situations on a forum like this. Get therapy, talk to your parents, preacher, mechanic, somebody. You get what you get here and if it pizzes someone off, then they are in the wrong place.

Perhaps, just perhaps, it is a lesson few are taught. A lesson that involves some humility, respect for others and showing it, and trying to give thought and use of wisdom. Life is serious, left or right, that is part of what makes us human. I am not saying, don enjoy what we have, just do not abuse it. God did make us so that we can decide for ourselves. Why not try to do at least get it right?

The jews are guilty for all our misfortunes. Are you sick/tired of being forced to co-habitate with the *****? I sure am. Let us fight this scourge of western civilization. It is time for the ***** to be held accountable for the devastation they have brought to white people. We demand the immediate removal of the ***** from our schools. We cannot learn if a born half-ape is pestering us. We will see to it that negroes and other enemies of or culture will never again, so much as think about stepping foot on a white nation

Yea, i agree! I beleive your right, if you want to post funny questions or answers, it's purpose is to be entertaining, not a thought provoking and serious one that will keep you up thinking all night. Reporting someone for not speel checking a couple of words...Wow, that's stupid.
I do think it's alright to report people for language, racism and all that bad stuff. That's not entertaining, its REALLY stupid.

I love the hilarious answers, every time I see them they make me laugh, people who report people for stupid stuff is because they think that this site is an educational site, or some sort of google.com they just need to pick the info that they need and laugh at all the silly comments that makes this site interesting for people that have a sense of humour.

people do indeed need to lighten up. as for the sarcastic remarks the people who deliver thes are either bored, synical, or matbe just having plain fun. people do not know you so i would not worry about any negative / sarcastic comment at all. let them be themselves and if they continue to bother / irritate you IE.... emails or IM's then i would report them because then it DOES become a personal issue.
