I just want to let everyone know that I am in NO way pushing Christ on anyone. You all are taking it the wrong way....How are the lost going to find Christ if we don't tell them? It's obvious. I pray that all of you Christians get on fire for the Lord. He IS coming back someday soon, and I don't think any of you want to have to answer to Christ by telling Him why you didn't share the Gospel.

Thanks!

Anything, ANY THING that mentions the name JESUS or CHRIST is to be condemned by the Christaphobics............That's their job!

Keep up the good work-- and I hope you get as much hate mail and nasty remarks as I do!

Dear, it isn't that that is getting their dander up. It's the fact that many people, yourself included, are more interested in teaching than in asking, and are confused about the format of Yahoo! Answers.

You have NOT asked a question, despite the question mark.
Questions begin with words like: "do, is, was, will, were, can, are, have, will, why," etc., and do not get followed with a lesson or speech. You are FAR from the worst offender, but this is not a forum for you to TELL people about Christ, and by doing it in this way you are breaking Yahoo! Answers rules.

Want to fix it? Come up with pithy (short and full of information) questions that make people think. Then LET them think. Don't tell them the answer, as that is a rhetorical question and is not appropriate to Yahoo! Answers.

In addition, keep your eye on questions that others ask and give them answers that will help them find Christ, just as others are giving advice from their own perspectives.

I am great admirer of Christianity and the amazing amount of good they have done throughout the world, in charity, in good works, in general attitude. I am not a Christian, but have read the Bible 3 and a half times, and greatly appreciate the wisdom it has to offer. At the same time, no one likes being preached to.

Give them questions to think about, not speeches to ignore. Engage their brains and hearts, using the Gospels to guide you, then learn to wait and watch.

Mustard seeds don't grow over night, but the shoots show in just a little time. Watch for them.

You need to read the bible. What about the teaching of the prostitute? let you who be with out sin through the first stone. Be more focused on your own life then on others. If you wish to show Us "heathens" how much better your path is, lead by example and live a good life. Didn't Jesus say don't be praying in the streets but in the closet with humility? Know what you believe before you push it on others. BB Sdw

Last time I checked, threatening people by telling them that they will go to Hell if they don't accept your religion, is a way of "pushing them" into it.
The same way that your parents having you baptized when you are little is a way that society has of pushing christianism into you... like sending children to a religious school.

When I'm a parent (If I ever become one), I'm gonna explain my kids the wide diversity of religious beliefs out there, and I will let them make their own research and informed decisions to choose their religion (or lack of it) on their own.
Nobody should have religious or political beliefs shoved through their throats when they are children. After all, there are no right or wrong religions, nobody knows the absolute truth.

I do when I can. But I do not want to alienate either. I pick and choose the battles that come my way. Anyhow check out my 360 page and you will see that I have it there.

Because I've studied religion/theology for years, probably have more knowledge about the development of Christianity than you, and outgrew make-believe of all sorts (all religions).

Thanks for trying though ;-)
