I have noticed two people who posted great q's and a's are now suspended. Just as I was last month. Why are people so anal on this site. Their questions were no worse than any that are posted right now.

Eve defies God in order to become wise. Having divine wisdom, she chooses to give an apple of wisdom to Adam. Why would a wise person choose to defy God?

Genesis:

2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

I'm not talking about agnostics. Atheism means that you know for a fact that there is no god without a possibility of being mistaken. How can anybody say that without any proof whatsoever. Because they feel like there's no God that means it's a fact?

should the pledge be optional in public schools, where religion is not SUPPOSED to be a part of the curriculum, or are people just getting too upset about trivial things that don't matter and it should be mandatory?

everyone has their own opinions on this issue - i was just wondering what they were...

PSA 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

JER 13:14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor How many stalls and horsemen?
KI1 4:26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

CH2 9:25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem. spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.
EXO 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

ROM 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
How satisfied with creation was he?
#1: God says "it was good" after each of his labors, and rests on the seventh day, evidently very satisfied.
#2: God has to fix up his creation as he goes, and he would certainly not be very satisfied with the disobedience of that primordial couple. (funny thing that an omniscient god would forget things)

The Alhambra, I mean (If you don't know what I'm on about please don't answer!).

I've seen a couple of pictures of it and would really like to see it, but I have a couple of questions...

1. Where, exactly, is it? (Eg, where in Spain)

2. How big is the complex? (I'm assuming it's a walled garden)

3. Is it part of a house or larger whole or is it literally just a garden?

Anything you can tell me would be great, thanks

Some of these people from New York and Boston down here still speak w/ THICK accents. But not me. The Wisconsin northern type accent goes pretty quick. I am not even sure I want that accent back. It sounded goofy in the first place. Hearing someone from up there talk now sounds weird. Like they are speaking straight out of their nose. I kind of like the very subtle Florida southern drawl.

I normally don't believe in these stuff, but what if all the information you get are true, when you haven't said anything to them? How much do you guys believe in faith and destiny and if so, can we change it? The palm of our hands can always change as you get older..
