My friend holds that if a black man and a white woman (or indeed a white man and a black woman) have a child then that child is black.

This is true, he maintains, even if the child is quite fair in complexion to the extent that you would think it was white if you hadn't seen the parents.

My friend does not profess to be racist and in my judgement is not!

I don't get it. Are there hidden rules to understanding each other? Who cares about who wins? Why do women get upset about everything? All I ask for is some understanding, some compassion, some intelligent human interaction?

It's always something sexual, some attraction or something emotionally moving. Is it so difficult to understand of how limited our time is on earth, and how little of meaning we bring as individuals. Where is the root cause for all of this confusion and frustration?

Should I use the term gender issues or stratification in regards to these information: I need to research the fields in which male dominates and the ones that females dominate. and also, I need to explain how society's view on sex roles (the roles that males and females play in society) dictates the job that they pursue and work at.
Social Conflict Analysis views gender as a dimension of social inequality and conflict.

There are innumerable definitions of "happiness." Certainly the word is very subjective. While we all have variations of what we believe happiness is, it is certain that riches, fame, prestige, and so many wonderful personal resources in life to not make us happy. While we are affected by them, and those type things are greatly beneficial, having them does not in any way constitute happiness. What do you believe defines true happiness? Does love have anything to do with this?

In my Sociology class we were talkin about races and stuff and my professor said that Caucasian people have a distinct advantage in every aspect of their life in the United States. She is a Caucasian herself and she said "Especially in the dating world and the nightlife"

I couldn't comprehend what she meaant

Most of my classmates seemed to agree (about 23 outta 30 of us thru a show of hands by her statement)

IS that somewhat true? How??

What is the reason that certain people come into our lives? I heard that everyone we cross paths with was meant to be. Is this true?
