Sociology - August 2006

I was offered a place at university to do an Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism but didn't go.

I believe I made the right decision as I'm really happy and have got everything I want, but sometimes wonder what I'd be doing now if I'd gone. Not out of regret, just would be interesting to see.

from other countries (unaccompanied by males)? Is it because the Quran says woman cannot do work ? Or is it because the system will be abused for other purposes? If so why do they allow air hostesses, stewardesses etc?

Is there a history of Arabs working anywhere other than in Arabia, protecting their identity or interests? You can find Indians working everywhere in the world, including Arabia, Bitish people milking money from Arabia and funding clandestine laboratories in America, but why dont you find Arabians working in Germany or India? Same goes for Srilanks too.

I'm sick of seeing all there liberal teens defending everybody. "I don't hate anybody," "We're all human beings," "I love all walks of life." What the **** is wrong with you people? Everybody I'm connected to think that I'm a little too up tight nowadays. I wasn't always like this, BUT when I was calm and mild mannered,people started taking advantage of me and talking sideways behind my back. Now that I have this so called "mug shot" look on my face (that's what my moms says) and because I'm so quiet but irritable, everyone thinks I'm always mad. What should I do, be easy or aggressive?
