Since the beginning of civilization, whenever societies have sickened with tyranny or madness, humans have had virgin frontiers to escape to. Now, there is nowhere to escape from the tyranny or madness. And, no longer can we start afresh somewhere new with our own hopes and visions. Those realizations have caused despair. But, perhaps, it is good that we no longer have a choice but to stand our ground and finally face the tyranny and madness. God help us all.

nuthin is much different now than it was back in the 50s 60s or 70s. we just are more tolerant nowadays, and have more things to get in trouble with
