The disproportionate representation of black Americans in the U.S. criminal justice system is well documented.17 Blacks comprise 13 percent of the national population, but 30 percent of people arrested, 41 percent of people in jail, and 49 percent of those in prison.

because they are getting these ridiculous sentencing which all carry 15 to 20 years, there's only two types of people that will ever be free in this society and that's a black woman, and a white male.

I am a white middle-aged person working in juvenile justice in the northeastern US, and this is my opinion:
1) The breakdown of traditional family life (e.g., lack of male family members around to keep kids in line), and bad example from the remaining family members and neighbors (which of course also happens among non-blacks),
2) peer pressure to take part in neutral or illegal activities instead of wholesome ones, and
3) a higher percentage of white males who commit crimes avoid being caught or are able to get their penalty lowered to something other than jail. Some of this, I feel, is due to racial profiling among cops; some is due to greater knowledge of or accessibility to the legal system by people with more money and education.

Possibly, some whites won't call the cops on family members and friends as readily because they're worried about harming their reputation or future, but it's not like non-white kids never do similar things to what incarcerated black kids have done.

That is a serious question.
I don't know if black men are just more angry or what. They seem to have less desire than black females to get a higher education, at least here in the south.

I am a white American woman. Five women in my family, including myself, have been assaulted by a black male. None of us were raped, thank God, but two were seriously hurt.
I want to trust black men, but have to admit that I will not get on an elevator with one if I am alone. After you've been attacked, it stays with you for a long time.

I do have a doctor who is a black male. I did not choose him, but was turned over to him for a special study I had to have done. He is just wonderful. I wish I could tell him about my problem, but I haven't done it yet.

Part of it could be racism.

Part of it could be they cant afford decent lawyers to get them suspended sentences or something.

But most likely it is because they come from an environment that breeds crime. High unemployment, low income, abusive households, falling in with bad groups (gangs), low education achievement etc.
