I don't seem to go a day without thinking about this. Even the things I haven't got a choice in I think wow that could have all been very different. The way I see it is that I'm a lucky person, and things would have probably been the same but different if you know what I mean.

I've had many choices like that thrown at me, the most recent of which was whether to stay in a relationship or move away and go to art school. I chose the relationship and have ever since been in and out of work and different colleges trying to find out where I want to be. I could regret that earlier decision but I've had fun and am still with my partner, if I started to question my actions and feel any regret I'd probably lose all hope but I choose to just try and see the positive in my current circumstances. I know what you mean though, our lives could all be very different if only we'd made other choices but I think half the fun is never knowing what's going to happen until you make that choice.

Yes. And i think everyone does. But as long as you are happy, its okay. Even if you did regret the choice you had made, thinking about the past and saying "What if?" doesn't do anything.
I know. And you should be happy that you have made the right desicions that have led you to a happy life.

I think everybody thinks this way, I know I do. I don't think that I have any regrets in my life so far, maybe I'm too young to realise if I have any. If you are happy in the route that you decided to take, then don't worry about the routes that you could have taken. Furthermore, it's never too late to go back and do the things that you wanted to.

Its peoples choice. You cant do anything about it. If you start dictating how everybody should be behaving, when they should marry and whom they should marry then the standards should be the same for everybody. Everybody must be equal. If they are not, then you have to apply bias. Some people must be given more than others. Some people must be given less. Some, nothing.

Oh yes, I guess in a lot of ways the one that will always be with me is when I was, as a child of about 7, given the choice of who I would live with when my adoptive parents divorced, not an easy one but I somtimes wonder how things would have been had I chosen differently.
Enjoy your weekend ... :-) ...

You will always wonder but you have to keep looking forwards and not back as you cannot change the past as I have learnt
