Why arent WOMEN allowed to work in Gulf countries?

from other countries (unaccompanied by males)? Is it because the Quran says woman cannot do work ? Or is it because the system will be abused for other purposes? If so why do they allow air hostesses, stewardesses etc?

The women are responsible for the chores, raising children, and keeping hot food prepared for their man.

I will tell you many women in Iran work; I don't know how long it will last since they elected President Kook, but right now, they work. Also, there are women in Iraq who also work. They might get blown to smithereens, but some do work
