What I'm saying is that do you wake up happy and positive? Do you wake up depressed and roll yourself out? Are you ever scared about what may come your way that day? Do you even think about it at all? Or do you just get up and systematically and let your life happen?

They don't know how much I like them.

Based on my best answer selection, they might think that I may not take their answer seriously.

But what they don't know is that I very curiously wait for their answer. Not to know the answer, but to get their response.

I am never satisfied with the way I look. I am always trying to look better, and it consumes all my thought life. I always have a picture in my head concerning how I look when out in public, and don't relax much, as I often worry if I still look alright. Is this a Michael Jackson complex? I've had it all my life.

Some people I know are kind of middle-aged in their twenties. Other people remain interesting into old age.

What makes a person middle-aged? Is it doing boring things all day with money? Most of the interesting older people seem to be people who are doing creative stuff in science and art and those kinds of things, not things with money.

What do you think?

I ran over a dog once by accident, and it was a traumatic experience. The security guard did the right thing, and it is a good thing she was there. My problem is with her attitude after the fact. She talked about how the Holy Spirit helped her to kill the gunman. Next, she is running in front of every camera and t.v. show. She is not an innocent bystander with a gun; she is a professional who is into the martial arts. Yes, I am glad she was there, but even cops and soldiers have killer remorse. It is a natural grieving process when we have to take a life. She is all over the place. This is sort of like the story of the woman in Georgia who became a hero. We later found out that it was more to it than what she said. This is not the first time this woman used a gun but throwing the Spirit in the mix is more commerical worthy. The gunman had to be stopped, but at the end of the day she has to live with having to take a life. Having a background in counseling, something is missing.

If you had the means, would you disappear, or have you ever thought about it? Either pretending to be dead or missing, just vanish and start a new life somewhere else as someone else. And why?

I firmly believe that the average person, if you don't have moderate to severe mental health issues, shouldn't go to see a psychologist or a psychiatrist. We all need life coaches, best friends, people who care about us to give us advice, etc, but these professionals seem to exist to treat "mental illness" and they don't really seem to be there to be your best friend. Oftentimes, that's all people need.

And, furthermore, psychiatrists over-prescibe medication. I used to think, there was no harm in this, as long as it makes you feel better, right?

WRONG.

I've experimented from SSRI's, to anti psychotics, mood stabilizers, and the benzodiazepine family.

The ONLY med I to this day will take and is great is Ativan, part of the benzodiazepine family, since it doesnt seem to produce dramatic affects on your personality.

You're still you, just more calm.

HOWEVER, SSRI's, and the anti psychotics and mood stabilizers, like Paxil, Zyprexa, Prozac, Lamictin, Effexor, even af

yahoo answers is stupid. it deleted my question. LAME. it was a good question. I was serious. I honestly am wondering what is wrong with our world. or society. the US...whatever.

every other day..."A shooting at this church" or "10 people injured in a mall shooting" or "6 killed and 2 injured in school shooting"

I live in a really good district. STILL. we had a threat for a shooting at my school. WHAT IS WRONG WITH US. WHY IS EVERYONE GETTING KILLED.

Two of my friend's dad's committed suicide. My brother's best friend's brother just drowned, and my best friend's friend died. A girl from my school left the room crying because she wasn't sure if her friend was still alive or not after a shooting. my history teacher tells us about columbine, and how she was at a neighboring school, and how awful it was.

WHY?! kill yourself for all i care but dont TEAR APART INNOCENT FAMILIES JUST BECAUSE YOUR LIFE ISNT PERFECT. THATS THE POINT OF LIFE. IMPERFECTION.

I apologize for offending anyone on this website during the past 6 weeks. Fact is, I'm getting tired - not of YOU - but of tossing pearls into the swine pen. As for my age and gender, don't worry about it. I'm a very contented man, perhaps having a mid-life crisis. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. He's 71 for Christ's sake (for want of a better term). But what you DON'T know is my guaranteed goal in life; that is, to be drawn and quartered for a sexual offense when I am 142. If anyone is interested, you might reach me on Lycos over the next decade or so. Peace and goodwill to all you nice ones: Female AND Male.

Well, my family isn't POOR at all. I never go without anything, but it seems like a lot of people live in such nice houses and have really nice cars and I can't help but feel embarrassed by what I have compared to a lot of other people at my school. As I said, I don't go without much but still, I feel embarrassed since my parents don't have like brand new cars and our house isn't $300 000.

The free calendars, notepads, and address stickers they send you are just a ploy to get you to reciprocate, by relying on the kindness of the human spirit. How ethical is this? Do you feel any guilt--even a twinge--if you never reciprocate?

rubbishing and discrediting you, how would you handle it?

because if theres people doing this in numbers, and you stand alone....there likely to influence alot of people in their favor.

im a bpd sufferer, personality disorder and granted, i do get paranoid feelings as i have had most of my life....but i do suspect that there are those doing this.

i become angry and get worried about having an aggressive outburst because i find these people very provocative.

plus i dont like the fact that theres those rubbishing my character and maybe spreading lies about me, trying to make me an object of ridicule
