In human brain Neurotransmitters are the messengers carrying messages from neuron to neuron. Neurotransmitters are made from amino acids found in protein foods e.g., meat, fish and cheese. So it means vegetarian person who don’t eat all these things won’t be able to get brain foods? I know there some another brain foods like protein, Carbohydrate, Fat, Vitamins and Minerals. So it means peoples who are non vegetarian are the smartest one? I know that I am getting enough Carbohydrate but what about other brain foods? And I am getting enough oxygen and water from brain but I am worried about protein food. I know it is a dumb question!

I am into my 14th month of sobriety. I met a guy when I was in rehab, we are both recovering alcoholics. I have heard so many times that relationships don't work when in early recovery, and many people say that you should wait for at least two years before having a relationship. Basically, you should be concentrating on yourself only, rather than yourself AND your partner. Has anyone had experiences of relationships in early recovery? Good or bad?

you could go to meetings, read and work the proverbs, self help books ect... but are the "nuts and bolts" of all these different methods basically the same? Dont they all get you to start focusing outwardly instead of the inward way you were focusing?,,,,,self loathing, the key word is "self".

I asked this question a long time ago, but no one had the right answer, but now I'm asking again cause it bugs me. Someone said that my brain mistakes my own presence as someone else, and I think that might be it, cause whenever I'm laying down and I feel someone there, I concentrate and find that the person I felt was there was my feet....yet I still feel like someone is there.

To describe what it's like....it doesn't happen often, maybe once a day or something. Whether it'd be sitting, laying down, standing, whatever, sometimes I feel like someone's standing to the sides or behind me. I don't hear/see anything, but I get a really strong feeling that someone is there.
After experiencing this, I walk along the walls of my house, side stepping so that I can see in both directions with my periphials.

I'm 13, and I do watch scary movies, but I know that's not it since after scary movies, I picture the scary image in my head, rather than the paranoid shadow image I get radomly

If you are a bit lazy, passive, and unambitious, is there a way to change? That is, if your philosopy is "let it be," will it ever be "seize the day?" Or should it be?

Do you think the general public talks too much? Do you think that alot of vital energy is lost during most conversations? I read at certain times of the day some monks just stay quiet and meditate. Can this type of action take a toll on ones mental, emotional, and spiritual health when it comes to talking? I would like some answers thanks.
