I think you should be closer to the other person to make this to work. Then, what did occur first, to get both of you attracted mutually, at first sight.

Finally, do pheromones are some kind of magic so the only think that you need to do is let your sweat to do the main job?

I have many and varied interests but I cannot seem to focus on one thing as a speciality that will provide passion and enthusiam in a career setting (or Hobby). I have been a mechanic, technician, a Marketer, Business Analyst, Program Manager, Software Developer and I have demonstrated I can be proficient in these areas. I think the main problem is I get bored doing the same thing for too long. I'm a good problem solver or fixer, but I'm ready to move on once I know the solution. This has served me in past jobs, but now I view it as a risk to my long terms security. I'm a starter and not a finisher. What should I do?

I am a 31 year old guy who hates to tie and untie knots. Knots in shoes, tying knots for fishing, etc. I think this is somehow linked to my dislike of technical aspects. I hate technical stuff on jobs. I hate math. I hate soloing on guitar although I am a solid guitarist and have been playing for 15 years. I prefer rhythm (which can be just as technical if not more technical sometimes with all of the complex chords and chord progressions and rhythm techniques). Anyways, I hate to untie or tie knots. What does this say about me?

since males are so dominating and physically stronger at an early age, i've always wondered if females relying more on emotional intelligence and brain power to get what they want make the general population of females smarter than men over time?

Is this like a huge psychological experiment where they make the point that if we all opened up in real life like we do here all world issues would be solved? *shrugs* Just wondering.

He raped & beat her constantly, saying she caused it! She found courage & left but ended up in a similar situation which she also managed to leave. She fought her demons with counselling & became a happy, confident woman with a good life. Ten years ago, she married again. This man provides for her & their children & is a 'decent, non-violent' man except he needs alcohol everyday. Usually, its a few cans of beer which is fine, but every few weeks he verbally 'turns' on her. She confronts him when he's sober but it doesnt help & all her old terrors have returned. She has flashbacks & becomes childlike but knows if he finds out, he'll get more aggressive with her. She hides her emotions & doesnt want a divorce as she feels a failure again. How do I help her? She has fought back from terror so many times, it breaks my heart seeing her suffering after making her life a success. He'll never stop drinking so is divorce her only option? Is it possible to end her lifelong memories of abuse?

I am a first year psych student and am very curious about the thought of self-diagnosis. On one hand no one knows a said person better than themselves no matter how many questions a professional asks, on the other it is potentially dangerous and can lead to bad results if you do not know what you are doing. So I'm curious to know what others' dispositions on this is.

Several months ago I saw Dr. Robin talking to Laveranues (Coles?) talking about some older guy taking advantage of him sexually. And she was saying that this guy holding a gun to Laveranues' head was part of a "grooming" process!!! That's got to be one of THE TWO MOST CRAZY things I've EVER heard, and I can't even think of the first! Using a gun can never be part of a grooming process - that's just FLAT-OUT intimidation!!
Does she have a clue of what she's talking about???

You can call it a weird habit or lightly OCD. Something that make you keep trying to find the balance. I know alot of people have it and I find it really interesting if you would like to share it to the public. If you still don't know what I am talking about then you can check out this link ^_^

There are probably no more tragic stories than that of Ira Hayes. Born on the Pima Indian Reservation in Sacaton, Arizona, Ira was the son of a poor farming family. His people had struggled for years to make a living in the arid conditions of the Reservation and had little success beyond survival. At one time the Pima were successful farmers but that was before the US Government cut off their water supply and created a situation where they could no longer grow enough crops to eat.

Until the beginning of W.W.II, his life was probably unnoticed by anyone more than a few miles from his birthplace. When America called its men to arms Ira answered this call and joined the US Marine Corps for several reasons: He would be able to leave the Reservation, eat regularly and send money home to his family to help them have a better life. His Tribal Chief told him to be an Honorable Warrior and to bring honor upon his people. Ira never failed to do this. He was a dedicated Marine who was admired by his peers who fought alongside him in three major battles in the Pacific.

I see a few people now and then who seem intelligent, but every so often I catch them staring off into space and their eyes go "dead", like there is nothing behind them, almost sociopathic and cold. Often there is a mona lisa kind of smile on the face and I only see this effect with blue eyes. Anyone else notice these kind of people around?

If I know things you do not and fail to share my knowledge (aside from any ethical questions) I might gain an evolutionary advantage?. In thinking thoughts that are not shared I create my own unique personality?. Many creatures communicate is homo sapiens the only one that chooses not to share info with the rest of the species?
