i am 13 years old and i have a very shy personality. i can speak to girls well in msn messenger, but when i meet them in school, i cant seem to talk to them, i just go nervous and forget wat i want to tell them, but i really want to!!! Am i just too shy? Help me solve my problem!

Practice, practice, practice. You're only 13, so it's natural to be shy about talking to girls. Just keep practicing and you'll find you get more comfortable each time. You might have a few awkward moments at first, but those will help motivate you to do better the next time. You need to remember that the girls are nervous too, so if they say things that make you nervous it might not have been what they intended. Keep trying and soon you'll get better at it. You'll find that the "practice makes perfect" adage applies in many areas of your life.

Life is made of of things that will intimidate you or perhaps scare you. Some people face these things and some do not. Once you realize that it is much more fun to actually go up to the girl and start talking, you will never go back. Try this, just once: Do not wait more than 3 seconds when you see a girl, go straight up to her and start talking, about WHATEVER, it doesn't matter. Worst case you say something stupid, but at least you went up and started talking. Over time you will get much better and will love the rush, believe me. And then you will be the one answering these questions, hehe.

I was the same. When I was young, I had girls asking me out all the time, but I couldnt see why they would like me ( because I felt that I looked like an idiot to them because the bigger boys would bully me). Just dont worry about how they look at you. If you're nice to them, they'll be nice back and you'll realise there was nothing to be scared of.

Maybe 10 years down the road, I'll can assure you that you can speak very well to women. Meantime, focus yourself on your studies, you need not speak to girl now.

Just think of the girls as people and not girls that you want to get to know, instead of fearing them.
