It always troubled me as a child when I was growing up that Id be safe in a war or incident until I was 18 and then no one would care as I would be a man. I could be forced to fight wars, expected to be the last off a burning wreckage etc. If a man is murdered it is less traumatic then for women or children? Can anyone explain why mens lives are less valued. Or is it that society deems that as the more dominent physically they can protect themselves better.

i think a lot about most of the incidents happens in my life even if it is a very common thing.and by thinking too much sometimes i misunderstands and this had caused many problems in my life.
sometimes i felt that i am psychic .how to avoid all these thinking and to b happy in life?????

I don't know why but the idee that I'm not accepted in this world is more harder than it used to be. Here, in my home land, I have notice that I'm not truly accepted, espacialy from the guys. They always make fun of me becouse I'm not like them (I'm not good at sports like handball, football, I'm a sensible guy, helpful, friendly, I get easely angry or sad, I always to my homework, listen to everybody, I don't smoke or get drunk, I'm not a drinker, I always try to be good at studies, lately I become poetic). I accepted myself and pround to be me, but my classmates no or strangers. Some persons that are in my family and we haven't met for a while said that I'm to gentle, more gentle tha a girl. I even believe that some guys think that I'm gay ( and I'M NOT) becouse I mostly I talk with the girls and we understand each others. Some mad me feel like a looser.I ignore these actions, but now I feel weaken. Please tell me why is it like this? What do you think about me. No jokes!Be honest!

Madame X has insomnia and constant nightmares. X slept in her 18 year old son's bed for a month when her husband went to work abroad because she is scared of sleeping alone. X washes the dishes many times before using them and when she goes out, she is constantly worrying about whether she has locked the doors and closed all the windows. X is controlling, manipulative and selfish in her personal relationships.

MY QUESTION: Is X insane? And if so, what condition(s) does X have? Please factor in the following facts in your assessment:

a) X is of Indian (Punjabi) descent
b) X has never been schooled
c) X was the best-looking girl in her village

Traditionally, it is assumed that guys are turned on easily by looking at girls, while girls aren't immediately turned on (aroused sexually). Rather, they take their time to know the person before feeling like kissing or whatever. Are girls just like guys but don't say it? Or are there real differences? What are they?

Please read further. I have asked this question before and people seem to not understand the question because they come from the perspective of an emotional person. I need someone who truly understands what it means to be emotionless (not depressed). I'm not sad or happy. I'm not worried. I'm curious. Not even music sparks my emotions. I've heard there are emotional parts of the brain. I'm curious, are those parts for me eventually going to die? I'm looking for an answer to the question...
What affect will being emotionless have on my brain? Will I get smarter? Will I just lose emotions? Will I become more concentrated? Less concentrated? I'm not looking for a solution just an answer to feed my curiosity on the psychology behind it all. And yes I'm looking for a very scientific answer (what do you expect? I'm emotionless *almost laughed). The best answer will feed my curiosity and at least explain some basic psychology concepts. Thank you!
