Yup. I'm a second year Psychology Student and I'm always being told I'm nuts or crazy. I see a counsellor.

Many people on my course have depression or eating disorders, and those who don't know people who have something psychologically wrong with them.

It's a fascinating subject, and more so if you have experience yourself.

Are people who study law, a little bit illegal in the first place?
I have a 4 yr degree in psychology and the reason I chose the major WAS to figure out what was wrong with myself, after I failed out of computer science.
Besides the fact that psychology was much more easy to skid through without doing ANY homework! Not true with computer science. Wow and I just barely graduated RIGHT before they made the curriculum MUCH tougher. Guessing at multiple choice tests was pretty much all I had to do. Never read the textbooks. I had one teacher that made us do a workbook. Workbooks are so airheaded. I turned it in at the end of the course completely blank and all beat up. That teacher tried to block my graduation. She was an airhead though.

Everyone is a bit insane EVERYONE !

If a woman were to go onto the beach and just flip off her top she would be called crazy, insane, nuts, and a bunch of not so nice things as well. To our Society that is insane to do this.

To the rest of the world it is normal sun bathing. Women go topless on all the beaches all around the world EXCEPT for the USA.

So it is not a science of the mind it is a science of society that says if you are insane or not insane.

Look at what the cannibals did? Insane to us but not to them.

People chose psychology for different reasons; and mostly its the drive to cure people with mental illnesses - usually with the motivation coming from personal experiences. they are not insane but would like the 'insane' to come back to sanity. However, what happens afterwards is a different story - they're strength to withhold their sanity diminishes with time and exposure to the people and circumstances and also depending on the severity of cases handled by them.

Funny that you should say that. I worked in psychology for over ten years, It almost drove me mad and some of those that worked with me actually ended up as patients in the very hospital they worked in. Working with very disturbed people for too long, well....It began to feel so normal. one hardly noticed their odd behaviour after a while. "Case hardened." Perhaps it creates nut cases? Some would say that I;m a little mad, but one could say that about half the populace.

I don't think you understand the definition of insanity or the purpose of psychology.

How long have you felt like this? do you often have feelings of inadequacy or small episodes of paranoia?

A bit unusual perhaps. I'm always arguing with Harry over this. Of course, when he feels like he's losing, he pisses on the corner of my couch, which really annoys me. I've told him over and over to use the toilet but he insists on going any old place like he's just any ordinary dog.

When I was doing my degree in mathematics, I did a module on computer data analysis. A third of the module was taught by a mathematician and two thirds was taught by a psychologist.

The mathematician was fine but the psychologist was completely off his rocker.

Yes, the only reason to go and study psychology is because you have problems of your own that you want fixed.

i have self belief there are actual circumstances and there are also some those who're in basic terms very perplexed by skill of the kooks round them. some have a hormonal mixture-up that ought to in all likelihood be corrected, as my following party shows yet actual abnormalities are more suitable glaring. I once went on a blind date after talking to a "female" who labored in my telephone business enterprise... the first project i noticed replaced into how large "she" appeared. We went to an section and sat talking over beverages, and she or he appeared like a lady in her attitudes, yet (WTF?) alarm bells advised me to land up this date and get out of there. I observed as when I were given domicile and tried to tactfully broach the concern ... and after an hour and a 1/2 of fending off strains of smash out - like a Philadelphia lawyer - I requested if she had ever, or replaced into at the moment dealing with a sex replace? Then got here a huge >>sigh<< and "convinced". This human being were dealt a foul hand in life ~ as a hermaphrodite at delivery .. with a mixture of sexual organs and "indeterminate gender". The effortless clinical prepare replaced into to show screen for the first 3 hundred and sixty 5 days or so of life and examine out to judge which gender she replaced into leaning to, and over excellent right here years administer a procedure hormones and somewhat some operations to swing her to the female facet of issues. regrettably, my intestine instinct advised me she smelled like a guy ... It ought to be between the worst bargains in life, yet a manufactured from the completed sinful degeneration of humanity that lies in the back of this style of departure. people habitually reject God and decide what damages humanity, leaving different unfortunates to face the outcomes.
