I suffered a really bad injury on the job a few years ago which has caused permanent damage. After i got over feeling sorry for myself and learned to accept that this is how my life is going to be from now on. I had to figure out that i had 2 options in life 1. I could off myself and in the process it would wind up causing not only me to die but hurt my family and friends by them thinking that it was their fault for me killing myself which would have been wrong. 2. I could move on with my life and learn to adjust to my new life and live it too it's fullest. I chose 2 as you may have guessed so yes i feel it made me a stronger and wiser person.

Yes, I have experienced something like that. I had to live on the road for a month, literally. I slept on the road and ate miserly. It made me more stronger, and with the experience i had of the nightlife and the dark sides of life I grew wiser too.

Yes I believe! We learn 1000 lessons when we lose, we learn when we make mistakes, we learn by seeing or doing bad things. It's an important way to maturity.

going through tought times drains you....
costs you lots in energy...
people who say tough times are positive are fooling themselves and everyone else...
some people have said to me... see you went through tough times and they made you stronger....
I say.... I survived the tough times because I was strong in the first place...
