It can be something different every time.
It could be physical beauty, but I can't tell any details, I thought I liked blond guys and have fallen in love with somebody with black eyes and hair.
Sometimes intelligence, very often sense of humor. If combined- almost irresistible to me.
It could be a little thing like a smell or the way he smiles.
Sometimes he just pulls some string in my soul, I don't know what it is, something that reflect a part of myself i think, but I can't stop thinking about this man. And I am too shy to make the first move.

Depends on the choice. If the question is demanding biological explanations the attractions are same as what exists between male and female counterparts all across the animal kingdom.

attraction starts with the looks and later his
attitude whether it is caring or not?
company, he has a good sense of humour or not?
Eyes, have respect for women and elders or not?
By the way, it depends on person to person, some girls get attracted to macho kind of stuff, some attracts towards hooligan kind, some needs a decent person, some needs a perfect combo.....it depends dear

what attracts me to my man was not his looks but that fact that he is to me what a real man should be. he takes care of ALL his responsiblities. works hard everyday, takes care of us( his family)
and is a very loving man. Doesnt believe in hitting women if he doesnt get his way. he's a very fair man, not chouvinistic.
