Like I'll answer a question and get a thumbs down for no reason. Then when someone else agrees or says an opinion similar they don't get the thumbs down.

Then I was cited LAST WEEK for an answer from BEFORE SUMMER. WTF?!

There is very little crime, everything works properly, people obey the traffic laws, children are pleasant and respectful, it's almost unreal.

I don't think it's religion, because while Austria is more religious than the UK it is less so than the US. Yet going to either of those countries after visiting Austria is like a visit to the zoo. All that sensuality, aggression, body-pride and body-shame...

I don' t think it's because it's so small (as in "small is beautiful") because Ireland is also small, yet Ireland is more like the UK and the US.

Is it because Austrians are not allowed to beat their children, so you don't get that culture of violence? Or because the schools are better? Or because of the social safety net? Or are there ethnic reasons? Or because "high culture" is more prevalent than "mass culture" in Austria.? Or because the default value is order (rather than freedom in the Anglo-Saxon countries)?

A lot of this could also be applied to Scandanavia as well.

What do you do when someone in your employ is giving it there all and falling way below the accepted standard? I hate being mean but I have someone that is putting forth huge effort and having less than satisfactory results. Am I wrong to terminate someone for being inept when they are seriously trying?

TIs claim that there are 1000s of people in the U.S. and around the world who are targeted by technology which monitors, tracks, and disrupts their daily lives 24/7, remotely. I have personally seen and heard both their physical evidence and their recorded evidence in support of their claims. Most people in the general public simply write these TIs off as nut cases. I don't think that they are. I think there is something to what they say is occurring. Even if they are mentally unstable, don't we as a society have some kind of moral obligation to seriously research this matter and find out "exactly" what is going on with all these folks. Very nearly all of them, world wide, suffer the same effects and symptoms. If its just mental illness and delusional, how can that be? Can the mental health community come up with some kind of case history that could support the mental illiness hypotheses. Are, is it just safer to simply ignore these people? Maybe there's a cover-up after all.

First of all let me say that I am NOT racist.
....at all. I try to be a very fair person.

Other races(Black, Latino, Asian etc...) are very proud of their heritage and they show it but it seems to me that being a fully white person anymore is a bad thing.

For instance, some African Americans at my school will be talking about me/my friends and say.."Eww she white!" Like it's bad...or disgusting.

Why is being of White descent synonomous with:
-boring
-uncool
-stuck up
etc...

I don't do that to them...but if I did it would "RACIST" but they do it...isn't that racist?
