To some it may be an expression but when i was a teen ager
this guy was teasing me and i got so mad i just blacked out
my mind and the screen was red, and i swore from that day on it would not happen again because i could then see how
people could do something bad and not know it.. so i control
my temper and it is mild now..

To tell you the truth, when I was a teen-ager, about 17 years of age, I got so mad several times (two or three) that I popped a blood vessel in my eye. I believe the red is supposed to be blood. But, when you pop a blood vessel in your eye such that it bleeds internally, your vision slowly becomes totally opaque and you see nothing. First you see splotches crowding toward the center and then you lose complete vision. Eventually it clears up in a matter of minutes. It is not a good thing and it is associated with high blood pressure as well. It is more common in adults. I have not had it happen since.

They tore the biotches arm off and beat him with it. Then blood sprayed all over from the arm and everything was red.

Next Godzilla came and started stomping on people. He was very angry. He saw red after squishing the bodies and making the blood spurt out.

It's an expression, but basically means that you want to go into violent action and that's all that you can see. Red being the color for fury, passion, and violence.
