I just need to think of at least three of the most serios threats to the world. So far all i have is global warming...

Nearly all of our food around the world is sprayed with billions of tons of pesticides. This gets into our food, our water, and everything is contaminated.
Our factory farm animals are pumped full of drugs, sprayed with pesticides, fed genetically engineered food (which has chemicals used in rocket fuel in it, it gets into the meat and milk and everything). And most of the other foods we eat are so refined that there are hardly any nutrients left, and they are full of trans fats and preservatives and other artificial stuff. There's hardly anything that is good for us anymore. So the threat is that everyone is going to get obese, get diabetes, and cancer, etc. Unless our food and drink standards are fixed.
Another threat is over population and/or world hunger. The meat and dairy industries use up so much grain and water for the animals that it could actually feed the world nearly three times over!

One would be,if psycho terrorist got hold of a dozen nukes.Two,if the world ran completely out of fossil fuel.Three,if the polar regions began to melt 100 times faster than they are now.

Overpopulation causes every single problem we have but how do we resolve it without losing the number of young energetic people it takes to run the world? Answer that one and you'll solve everything.

seriously, global trade imbalance tt can lead to econ collapse. china's export is too aggressive - may lead to trade wars
nuclear proliferation - rogue nations threatening others eg iran - who next? greedy chavez?
depletion of food supplies - dwindling fish stocks, mad cow disease, bird flu - can lead to global disease spreading too quick to control!
