and if so, in 50 years do you think racism will be ancient history?

Or worse. I don't know how to put this in a more optimistic way, so I’ll just be honest. As I get older I just get more and more responsibility, and less pure, untainted pleasure. When I was kid I thought life sucked, but it was fu cking good fun. Kids are a hell of a lot friendlier than adults, less needy and fake as well. And when I look around adults don’t appear to be having a blast, unless their trying to be young or trying to be happy, but can you try and be happy, I mean aren’t you just happy or not. And money, have you noticed that that is all anyone wants. Lots of money.
Have your adult days out weighed your childhood days, or vice versa?

A couple of weeks ago, I went to see The Transformers and one couple brought their baby along. It didn't cry all that much, but I thought it was very ignorant of the couple. Your supose to turn your phone off and not talk loudy so you dont disturb other people watching the film, but you'd bring a baby along whos screams are as loud as a drill? Bit of contradiction. I'm surprised the staff at the cinema even let them in. A baby can't watch a movie, and it's very loud in there, must be quite destressing and I can't imagain it been very good for their ears. So you can't say they were there for the baby's pleasure too.

Does anyone else get annoyed by this?

Yeah I know weird question but I was wondering what a typical good response to get a conversation going would be. I noticed having a unique possession in your hand can get people looking. Even strangers commented to me like in a testing session during break. The general reply I would be saying is ..." Yeah, I know." I have an eraser about the size of an average human palm and it's one and a half inches thick.

10 points for the most realistic and creative answer! Thanks.

I need big help!

Go into your community and identify two or more examples of stratification.

Describe the examples and use your "sociological imagination" to explain how and why they exist, as well as how they impact the members of the community.

Can you please suggest some answers or examples in your community? I just need some ideas :)

Is it because Hispanics can be any color and Hispanics tend to be unassuming people for the most part who don't let social norms be their "social pimp" like many whites!?!?

Haven't they heard of Spain? Do they think the white skin is caused by a skin disease or something *sigh*? Or do some Americans don't want to admit or are upset that their ancestors came from the same continent as the continent that invented the Spanish language (Europe). Spanish was created in Spain and brought to the Americas during the colonization days!!!!

Why do some people refuse to believe that SOME Hispanics have European ancestors?

Or forcing them to do sexual activities?

I hear it every week on radio news, I have friends who've been sexually abused by their brothers.

What do they all have in common? THey grew up in a Christian/Catholic home.

What causes this and why do they do these sick things?

It wasn't so you could have assualt rifles. Do you know there are civilized cultures all over the world who ban guns completely? Need I remind you that we have more violent crime per capita than anyplace on earth, that children have now become mass murderers. Could that happen without guns? Maybe we should allow WMD's for y'all too!
