I'm always wanting to clean my messy room and make it look nice but never have the willpower to do it... It's frustrating but there is always something else I'd rather be doing. Any mental methods or abything to force myself to be productive? Thanks alot.

What can I do with a BA in Anth? It's too late for me to change my major now as I have 40 creds to graduate. I was thinking of going to law school (but I doubt I have the GPA), and I was also thinking of becoming a police officer (though I'm scared to get tazed or pepper-sprayed), I would love to do Archaeology but I hate being in the hot sun for more than 2 minutes.. Jeez, I've pretty much ruled out everything, huh??

I have noticed that most women get suspicious when you give them a nice compliment and think you have other intentions. When a woman compliments me, it's usually followed by "I'm not trying to hit on you, I love men."

I, personally, love and appreciate a woman's body, although it doesn't do much for me sexually since I want a man for that. I love paintings that highlight a woman's sensuality in a tasteful way.

Do we automatically equal appreciation of beauty with sex?

Personally I think certain gender differences have to be accepted, there is no such thing as ABSOLUTE equality but I'm confined to certain specifications

1) What is Marginalization?
Marginalization is a post colonial term defined as “the overt or covert trends within societies whereby those perceived as lacking desirable traits tend to be excluded by wider society, ostracized as undesirable”. Marginalization causes individuals who have certain distinguishing features in society to live adversely due to unequal treatment. Marginalization puts in place the conditions which limit what an individual can achieve.

2) Marginalization of Women in the Workplace.
For women who strive to succeed, rising to the top can be a lonely journey. If they are assertive they are seen as not feminine. If they are kind, they are seen as incompetent and unable to step to the task. When in a leadership role, they have to fight off the stereotypes and preconceived notions about them.

Well since about febuary I have been having dreams about tornadoes almost every night. I am always outside in a field, and i see 1+ tornadoes coming towards me. I am usually with a couple of people i know, and we start running from it. We always grab onto something and barely manage to get away. But last night, I had a dream that i was in somebody else's body, and watched myself get killed by a tornado. It was very disturbing and I am wondering what it means. I am 14, and in the last 3 years 8 people I knew have died- 2 were extremely close to me. My parents also divorced, and i have been seeing a therapist for a year now. My life is filled with stress, and I am wondering if tornadoes somehow fit into it. If you know what tornadoes symbolize in a dream, let me know!

I'm so tired of people being uneducated about race. People actually rely on their eyes on what a person's race is. If someone does that they are most likely going to get a person's race wrong. I have seen many biracial people that physically look more of one race over the other when they are actually both! My cousin is white and asian she looks straight up asian. You would never even think that she is part white just by looking at her. Just because she looks more asian than white does that make her less white? Hell no it doesn't! I have a friend that is black and white and he looks more white than black, the only black thing about him is that he has dark hair and eyes, most people mistake him for Italian. Does that make him less black? Hell no it doesn't! That girl from High School Musical, Vanessa Hudgens is white and asian, but comes out looking hispanic. Just because she looks hispanic does that mean she's not white and asian? Hell no! Race is more than physical apperance!!!

well, i had these dreams a while ago, like idk bout 5-6 years ago. and well i was thinking bout them l8ly, so i decided to find some kinda answers. ne way, i would be standinjg on my patio and my mother would come out and tell me to get in the house asap. well i wouldnt listen and i walked over to our garage and this huge black panther would come out jump on top of me and bight my neck and wen he was about to bite i would wake up. well i would have these dreams continuously, idk i think it was bout 10-15 times. so finaly i said to myself wen this happends i wont wake up if this happends again, so i didnt and sure enough it happend again, so the panther killed me and i could feel my sprit lift off of my body and it became all white like all around me, and then this blaring light appeared in the distance of a man, he was coming toward me (pretty sure it was God). so i freaked and awoke. but after that ive never ever had those dreams again. ne ideas wat that could have ment?

For example, Is it ok if I meet a new attractive woman and tell her that all I want from her is her friendship with some sexual benifits on the side. Are these liberated women of America ready for this kind of honesty!

Hope this isn't a intrusive question. But I was thinking about this the other day for myself. And I really don't know. . . but then again I could just be lying to myself. I think I know what it is, just not owning up to it. . . But anyway. Everyone has them.

So what do you FEAR?

I've had a few dreams about my grandma, who died june 04. I graduated may 22, she died june 8th
This one was her back to life, but dying. First it was some woman's mother. But then I know it was my grandma
I had to hold her, cuz she couldn't walk really, and sorta talk to her.
It was sorta a surprise that she died. She lived like 5 years longer though I think, cuz my parents said she was in a hospital
and wouldn't make it through the night, or 5 months. She died in her sleep.
I don't think I dealt w it. I mean I cried at the funeral, it was good/sad. But not so much after.
I was kinda in denial for nearly 2 years. It was unrealistic to me, I couldn't accept it.
I was like that with 2 of my dogs. I had an uncle die when I was in 8th grade. That was a tragedy too.
I only saw my grandma once a year for an hour at thanksgiving. She was in a home.
But she was really great. I don't think I dealt w her death. I had college, and moving.
I had lived in the same house for 19 years.

The first of everything.

ie

Relatonship
kiss
Day (work or school)
I think this even applies to objects, like bike/computer etc.

This isn't necessarily true for everything e.g. children.

Could this be linked to the second slightly different version of something not quite measuring up, (or feeling 'wrong') ?

Right now i feel less angry and less irritable. Could that be because i gave up one of those things (one more likely that the other i suppose) or would giving up either of those not really do anything?

This question is concerned
with the existence of
paranormal beings.
It feels as if I were on an elevator, although it only lasts seconds, and it always coccurs at the same point of my room. I believe in spirits and ghosts and all those things.

Try to understand this, it may be complicated or weird to understand. Here it is:....When I am just being me, looking at different things, living my life, especially when im talking to someone im looking at them but not really hearing what they are saying. When im looking at this other person im picturing myself in my mind and what i look like, like im a ghost hovering above myself watching myself and reactions to the person. Do other people think like this or am i weird?
