For my psych seminar, I have to do a presentation on a famous psychopath/serial killer on powerpoint.

The thing is- this serial killer has to have some audio clips and videos since those have to be incorportated into the powerpoint presentation.

So any ideas?

Ok, so here goes, basically there are a few prominant ways that we describe their feelings towards existence.
So this being said, Are you the kind of person that says, "This is my situation I am going to adapt and get stronger, and deal with the circumstances I am dealt, and I accept this reality"? OR are you the kind of person who says "thats not good enough, I dont accept that i could make it better and i create oppurtunities i dont deal with circumstances"? OR somewhere in between, i think most people fall in between, or are actually both and use both of these mind-sets on different levels for different situations.

When someone is talking to you and they intentionally use words they know you are unfamiliar with. There is a term for this, and I'd love to know what it is so I can bust my friend who does it all the time.

I have a lot on my plate just now with working, studying, looking for a new place to live, adjusting to married life, paying off debts and trying to save. I really need to manage my time well and keep my energy levels up, but I find that a lot of the time I just can't be bothered with any of it. Today for example, I had a day off work so it was a perfect opportunity to catch up with other things (including finishing an assignment for my post-grad course that has a looming deadline), but I spent about 5 hours in bed this afternoon napping, feeling guilty and worrying about what I should be doing, instead of just getting off my butt and doing it. How can I break out of this horrible habit and just get more done? I'd really appreciate some useful advice 'cause both my work and studies are starting to suffer.

what kinds of things would you assume about him? Would you assume your personalities were similar? Do you think he'd be helpful to know? Would you want to meet him? If he was in danger, would you help him?

I am taking a class on moral reasoning / moral cognition - and this is something we've been discussing in a limited way. I'm curious about what people outside of the class think.

Or when she gets invited to a party, or other social event where she becomes nervous, gets knots in her stomach and doesn't want to go?

Is there a name for something like this? Is there a cure?

Being a 'nice guy', I find I need to put on a bit of an act when I am at work. I pretend to be more assertive and direct than I actually am. People at work don't really see the real me.

I am interested to know if anyone else does this? Do you behave naturally at work?

What is the psycholgical term for a person being able to 'control' their dreams? You can stop yourself from running away, control yourself while flying/falling, etc. It's the state of being half asleep. Over the years, I have explained it to my friends/coworkers and they think I'm making it up. Thanks in advance.
