how we view 9/11 is everything because of the media. i mean for 20+ hours it was nothing but the same videos. I know all I have to do is see those two numbers together and I think of the event and can see the planes crashing into the towers. And the fact that there were so many channels to choose from, if you wanted a different angle or voice, or better pictures. The thought of conspiracy never entered our mind until months/years later. Because we believed with all of our heart for months that we had been attacked...But now I think that a lot of that fear and flag waving pride has settled down. Maybe it is different in the east....but in the Midwest we are so distant from the events. The news is our source, not friends, family members, neighbors, or church friends that lived through the hell.

The media shapes North America's interpretation of any and all events they cover. Unless you were unfortunate enough to be in New York city on 9/11/01 the media shaped your opinion.

The media has complete control over what happens and what they say happens. In the matter of 9/11, the media hasn't really focused enough that "WE WAS ATTACKED" by terrorist groups that we are trying to root out of iraq. they interpert that these terrorist groups are no longer a threat and we must pull out.

my choice for news----"fox news". fair and balanced.
i watch the news every hour of the day lol.
