I have to get everything done?
If I want to sit down, relax and enjoy myself I can't unless I make sure everything I want done is done and I don't feel better unless I do. Example- cleaning something up, straightening things, etc. Sometimes I don't even know what I have to get done, but I have that anxious feeling so I look around to find what it is. Are there any ways to make me feel better so that I can sit down, relax and watch a movie and enjoy it?
It's not really work, it's just silly things around the house that other people probably don't worry about when they are going to sit down and watch a movie.

Has anyone ever heard of the word discomfitting? Someone used that word in our email conversation and I assumed they meant discomforting. I challenged that person's intellect and I was incorrect. It was a valid word and I have no way of telling that person I apologize. I've never felt more stupid and embarrassed in my life. I am an educated man with a degree in Business and I couldn't even confirm the validity of a word used in our English language. I am a man who admits when he is wrong and I wanted to apologize to that person, wherever they may be.

if you have ever found yourself in a group of people speaking a language that you don't understand?" And this is our sense of the mountain of knowledge required to effectively use oral language. This is a crucial means of communicating with others and a powerful tool for thinking, solving problems, and making decisions, language plays a vital role in our daily experiences. Cognition also raises questions about intelligence in both people and machines. The efforts to measure human intelligence also raise a number of ethical concerns; such as is it fair to measure something so personal as intelligence? Who should have access to the resulting scores? and Are IQ tests biased against minority groups? The cornerstone of cognitive research is the study of our fascinating memory capacity. And although human memory is fallible and is less predictable than a computers, there are several important factors that improve your ability to retain materials. From the other section I have personally gained that using the principles of memorizing such as: focusing on meaning and personal relevance, visualizing, paying attention to structure, identifying and using retrieval cues, and practice spaced rehearsal can help with memorizing scripture and any other topic we may have interest in.

Has Mel conflated Aztec and Mayan ritual features (i.e. ripping hearts from a living human sacrifice?) in the interests of drama? I know the plot of Apocalypto is fictionalized, but I'd like to know whether the milieu, at least, is based on reality.

Do u think that society is forcing youth to remain yonger longer??
Drink laws are now at 21 in US, Full license is now 19 in BC.
Because they are not considered 'adults' or teenagers what are 18-21 year olds suppose to think?
I personally think that that is why crime rate is higher for youth then it has been. It use to be that if you weren't married by that time there something wrong. Now people are babing young people.

Because of the new 'rules' my husband will not be able to get his full license until he is 23 years old.... (he got sick which made him take the test later)

People think that i am too young to be getting married, yet a generation ago that was the norm, and there was not a high divorce rate.
(i will be 20 and he will be 21)

What do you think the consequences are, if any, fr forcing people to remain dependant past when they feel independent?

Okay, so my boyfriend died 4 years ago in a wreck, I was really young, I ended up dating someone else and got married, never really got over my ex and didn't get to tell him bye. I've been having a lot of dreams about him and last night I dreamed that I started dating his brother and we were going to all these places together (his brother actually hated me in real life, and I hated him though). But we were driving down this dirt road and I every time I looked at him, I couldn't decide if it was him or my ex, they looked sorta the same, and then he left me in this town, and finally came back. It was weird, can't remember all of it but just parts. I have dreams about my ex all the time, what do you think it means?

i have seen a psychiatrist and psychologist and have been diagonised with social anxiety .i am currently on anti-depressantsand i also practice deep muscle relaxation techniques and breathing exercises.i have got abit better but i have a problem with my 'fight or flight reflex'.i feel like i cannot cope anymore.when i walk in quiet streets or places and a car just appears suddenly or a person looks at me i jerk, almost running away, move really quickly(sort of an adrenaline surge).i don't have much of a problem with crowded places as i just blend in.when i am walking in hallways and someone appears the same happens.when people enter rooms that i am in(when they get me unaware) i jump and feel like running away.it is an automatic response and it has become part of me.i have been signed off work as i was always been kicked out of jobs and everyone thlnks that i am an idiot.i just cannot control it and people are always gossiping and i have become a laughing stock.what do i do?

We all looked the way we do for a reason! Love your skin.

We all have features of our ancestrial past. Love your genes.
(It's ok if you want your descendents to carry your features 300 years from now)

We should learn to uphold the truths of our past and cultures

Share them with others not condeming theirs while uplifting yours.

Teach to reach the height of mankind is my secular.

Just imagine how far we would be as a species if we we're more ANT like, possessing the same intellectual abilities and possibilities!

Just imagine the world that had never gone to war with its self.

Hue-mans... Here th call

"The Melanin Factor" is fast approching.

I have found love in all walks of life and hate in places I didn't expect if could exist. People are we that morally reduced that we are now so emotional about every thing that we are literally cultivating a mass emotional and mental break down.So many symptoms of this appear on every level of life in the US to date.

I am having a problem in my relationship that seems to center around the fact that my gf was raped about 5 years ago. Unfortunately her virginity was taken from this rape, she never told her family, and she didn't report the incident. She grew close enough to me to inform me of it and told me of the counseling she went through, trying to kill herself, and various other issues. To this day you probably could not tell that she went through all of that because she seems so strong and seems to have coped with it all and put it behind her...in every aspect except it becomes readily apparent in the bedroom.

When we first started dating we would have sex all the time, and she seemed to be more sexual than I was. As she got more comfortable with me and we moved in together sex declined.

I can see in his eyes that he really likes me. He's even a little nervous around me sometimes. He told me he gets into "moods" that he cant help. Sometimes they last for days, but he wants nobody around, (he's fully functional, tho..goes to work, etc.) When we talk on the phone during these moods, his voice is so different than when he is "normal". I feel bad for him, but I don't know what I'm dealing with and he hasn't felt comfortable telling me yet. I can handle almost anything (bi-polar, etc), but cannot handle the rejection I feel when he goes through this. I know there is nobody else. Also, when he's out of the mood....he seems almost embarrassed and he doesn't want to talk about it and he's back to being the sweet, completely adorable guy I fell for. What is this? Does anybody have any insight???

The mind as it is:

This is a book about thinking and how you can find yourself in this book in fact we are all writers of books in this life.

This is a story about how you will realise how you are the subject of the story and see yourself for real. What I am about to tell you is amazing and don’t be afraid from it.

It’s amazingly simple and always remain true for all occasions. In very simple terms everything is only because you are thinking it now at this moment in time and is always true for all situations. The world is for sure absolutely for real but whatever it is it is still only because you are thinking it at this moment in time.

Let me prove this in a number of ways. For instance say you done a bad thing if you done a good thing who is the one that is thinking he did the good thing. Who was the one thinking it have a guess. The man in China is not thinking what your thinking is he or maybe he is it doesn’t matter its still only because what you are thinking now.

Many people don’t grasp this idea immediately but sometimes come in a sudden flash of light. People look at things from their point of view at the moment in time.

Life is incredibly made up of thoughts.

The true nature of truth it does not arrive at a point or final end. The same with thoughts. You can be your own master and controller of your thoughts it can become a powerful tool for fulfilment and happiness. It appears that everybody looks at things from their point of view at that moment in time.

The child being born is not thinking the same thing as the person dying. The person getting married is not thinking the same as the person working in a factory and yet they all seem to coexist together.

Ok to understand this better I could argue that all these people would exist anyway despite what they are thinking or even what they are not thinking.

Mind conditioning and the external world. Believe it or not you have been conditioned by the things around you and need to look at things without prejudiced.

The first six years of your life we were fed with information without asking questions

That influenced our behaviour and tendencies we have now

Start from a clean sheet every day

Words are like music that can be arranged in different ways

What do I mean by higher knowledge? Well higher knowledge recognises there is not higher knowledge.

The thinking that had you believing everything was ok until you found out some think went wrong. The infinite replacement of thoughts that keeps looking and renewing the I.

What you believe was right is no longer right.

Spurious belief in an education system that you believed was right and driven by possible fear and conditioning.

Were you born and believed everybody was right and honest. Did you believe everyone with a title was honourable only to find out otherwise. Was it really only because you are thinking it that moment in time.

The idea you had free will until you became the victim of another person’s free will. You realised you no longer had free will any more. The random uncertainty of events that led you to the realisation that life’s circumstances were not being made by you. Our judgement is normally then confused.

Everybody looks at things from their point of view at the moment in time.

Life is the way it is by virtue of the fact it is the way it is:

If it was any other way it would not be the way it is, therefore you would not EXIST to ask the question.

Where is history now?

How much of history can you remember?

The truth is that everything at this moment in time is only because you are thinking it now.

Of course the world is real but it is still only because you are thinking it. Get it!

How ever you try or want to interpret it the process is the same.

For instance you can say I am only thinking of one aspect of the whole thing but it is still you thinking it.

So believe me your thoughts are totally unique to you at any one time.

Isn’t it you get carried away in your believing everybody else is thinking what your thinking than suddenly you have to come to your senses, and realise its only you.

There maybe a common consensus but its still you thinking it.

Thinking for those already not in pain.

Knowledge is power ,but right knowledge is even more powerful. But what is right knowledge? We shall go into that in more detail latter.

Life is the way it is by virtue of the fact it is the way it is.

If it was any other way it would not be the way it is.Therefore you would not exist to ask the question.

Where has history gone and where is time surely its in the mind, how much of history can you remember.

A million people doing a million different things at the same time in a million different situations.

In the history of time were all those people only thinking at that moment in time.

Mind conditioning and thought patterns. The external world that you did not choose but is nether the less there.

You come from a point or place ,and you cannot change the place or point you cane from.

You can rearrange the things on the outside, but effectively you cannot change the thing you are.you cannot change core essence.

The self is the thing that steps back and keeps looking at itself again and again.
