We all have features of our ancestrial past. Love your genes.

We should learn to uphold the truths of our past and cultures

"The Melanin Factor" is fast approching.

I have found love in all walks of life and hate in places I didn't expect if could exist. People are we that morally reduced that we are now so emotional about every thing that we are literally cultivating a mass emotional and mental break down.So many symptoms of this appear on every level of life in the US to date.

The problem of overcoming racism as a people is that success is transient. By that I mean that is that many people have made the march to being non-racist or less racist against one minority but then just move on to hate someone else.

The current approaches to defeating racism can solve a symptom but not the underlying problem, that we as a society and as individuals (some) teach racism. Or rather we teach the skill set to be bigoted.

I have to sadly wonder if we can beat discrimination against black people (I didn't say African American because a lot of anti-black racism occurs to non US citizens), what does it matter if we just transfer that to Mexicans or Jews or Islamists.

I really support attempts and drives to end racism. But I think the only way we'll ever know if we're beating bigotry is when we stop slamming groups we can't identify by sight. Like atheists and homosexuals. When these can be said to be overcome, I think we'll know we're beating the core problem.

After all someone trying to cover up their bigotry against black people may just be quiet around them and they might get away with it if we let them. But if you are gay and no one knows, you know you hear slurs when people think there are no gays around.

Sorry this was so long (and preachy).

Ciao.

The problem with society is reverse racism don't get me wrong yes slavery is and was wrong but that was in the past my ancestors came from a war torn Germany under persecutions i dont get any special treat ment such as all black colleges all black scholarships and affirmative action if we are to be one society then every one needs to stop living in the past every race and nationality of people have been through some sort of hardship or another even WASPs which no one like (white rich people) had hard times when they started this country weather it be sickness or no food WWII Japanese people where put in to camps like another race of people Jews and Jews have been persecuted for ever and they just keep plugging on and taking every ones money.... all in all there will never be a non racial society every race of people believes that there hard ships are worse than any one else's and feels that they deserve something from it when we should all just look at it they way it is the Rich stay rich and the Poor stay poor no mater if your white black yellow red blue green

Sure. And instead of christianity being taught to kids in school, they should learn the original religion of the Native Americans, which is Shamanism.

For some reason, even though people bite their tongue about this subject, I'll be open about it because obviously you find a problem with racism, and so do I. If people weren't racist this world would be in a LOT better condition than it is now. If people wouldn't try to froce their religion on other people, this world would be MUCH better. If people would PLEASE stop being so judgemental about skin color and religion, and focus on the inner abilities and potential of people like we all should, then we would all be happier.

The human brain is such a difficult thing! I agree with you completely but there are, and will always be people out there that are so messed up in their heads because of the impact other people have made in there lives - it's impossible to fix!

"We, the people" have not and will not ever keep it real. That's the crux of the entire matter.

Live your life as the man sang "in peace, in truth, in love."

Beyond that, don't expect too much.
