My mom had a massive stroke in March and as a result has a trach.
She was in the hospital/rehab for 3 months fighting for her life, literally.
She came home in June and is in decent shape, meaning she has all her faculties and is able to get around with her walker.
Her biggest obstacle is the trach. You see, I am 29 years old and am her primary caretaker.
I am in desperate need of help.
I do everything for her...trach care, bath/showers, meals, finances, doctor appts....everything.
In addition, I also work full time. Her insurance has cut off all her services. They took the home health aide away from her and
stopped all VNS/Physical Therapist visits. I just do not know what to do. I have even considered paying out of pocket, but that does not even work.
I have contacted many home care agencies and the aides do not want to come because she has a trach...liability issues.
If I purse an RN & LPN, they will cost $40-$60 per hour...that would be out of pocket and extremely expensive.

I am dire need of help and so is she. She has come so far and I don't want to see her go downhill.

When men turn 18 years of age they have to sign up for selective servce (at least in America). I personally think that the need for selective service is b.s...military and the possible chance of dying should be completely voluntary...but let's just assume that the selective service will never be elimnated...why would men be the only ones allowed to be forced to sacrifice thier lives....if women are now in the military in a combat position....then it follows that they can be trained (gender norming is a completley other question) so why won't the government allow women to die for thier country on the same platform as a man...is all this equality still only smoke and mirrors....freedom and eqaulity is not limited...you can't pick and chose...women and men should both be able to make the same chioces.....i understand that some women are not military material but then again so are some men...so what's the deal? are people just allowing women to be int he aremed forces for show or what?

We seem to have nothing but lies and deception coming from some of our politicians yet there are people that will vote to keep them in office. Do these voters see eye to eye with these politicians who are like them? Do you have any idea why people would trust untrustable people to control their lives?

It was hard to get over what i did in the past as a kid. I am ALMOST over it i think. I was just wondering what all of you have done in the past as a kid. What i did was when they were sleeping. I got on top of 1 which was younger and I might of humped ( i don't know how old but i was under 10) and then when i was still younger, i put my chest in my little cousin's face who was alot younger. I realize it's normal but i still feel bad so will you guys tell me what you did as a kid like this like doing sexual things while someone didn't know or was sleeping and they were younger or if someone you know did it. I know i posted this in the wrong spot. Sorry! Thanks. You guys helped last time. I'm almost over it. YAY. I am sick of rude people on here though. REAL LIFE:
I left my old job as a receptionist in a factory 6 mths ago. I haven't found another job yet dispite all my searching. This factory was just starting up, I was there 7 months & decided I didn't like it & it wasn't for me.
DREAM:
Last night I had a dream that my old boss from the factory called me at home & asked me if I was coming back. I said I wasn't sure since I left on not so good terms & asked him if he wanted me to come back or not. Before I got an answer the phone went dead. I went by 2 get my separation papers & to my shock & awe the factory was now a booming industry with tons of different departments, levels, a huge staff & the building had been totally renovated it was so beautiful I actually wanted to come back. An x-coworker gave me a tour & introduced me 2 the new HR. They knew who I was & everything. They said they would cut me some slack since I worked there before and had made a mistake. I was offered a cleaning job then my dream ended.

I'm 24 i've never been in a love relation with a girl. i fell in love 3 times before but i never told the ones i loved that i love them.
now.. i'm in so much need to love and be loved but i can't find my soul mate. and even when i find a nice girl... i don know.

When ppl yawn, the people who see the yawn get compelled to yawn.

I've been noticing that when ppl fart, then ppl who smell the fart --- then fart themselves. Could this be a psycologial thing we've learned?
