I always see shoes hanging from power lines for some reason.

I suppose people get changed at sports centres, when they go running or something and lose a sock because it was tucked into a pocket, or the top of a bag on the way home?
I find that it's shoes more often than socks, and I have seen pairs of trainers hanging off power lines too! I'd like to know why pants and knickers are lying by the side of roads so often though. How would you not realise you'd lost those?

Hi >
I have also found a single boot on a pavement.
Of no use, of course, but what about the prosthetic leg I found in the gents loo @ Athens airport?
What to do with the thing? And why was it there ?
As for socks found, My mate found one on a cross-channel hovercraft, near the car door. How & why was it there. ?
It was beige, so we laughed and went for a beer.
One can only suppose "activities" in public places.
Fair enough.
Hey Ho,

Bob

I've never seen a sock, but I have seen shoes on the highway.
BTW shoes hung on a power line is sign that a drug dealer lives in the house it is in front of. At least it is in MO.

AAAAAHHHHhhhhh!

So THAT"S where my left socks go when I put them in the wash!

I KNEW that there was an explanation.

I just thought the dryer 'ate' them, or they mysteriously teleported to some distant galaxy.

It's when they escape from the washing machine.
Unfortunately when they get outside they find that it's not such a great place and end up on the street.

I always seem to find piles of old t-shirts!

Maybe the tramps have developed a way to shead thier old clothes and grow new ones... or maybe not!

For me it's a shoe. I always see one shoe. I ask myself, doesn't the wearer know they are walking with only one shoe? How can someone lose one shoe?

If it is a small sock then a bairn in a buggy chucked it oot.
