Is not theory of evolution a lie, endowing personal traits to inanimate environmental conditions? How does homogeneous ocean select varieties of water-living species? Those who believe in evolution are really fools.

Racism is something that disgusts me more than almost anything else on Yahoo Answers or anywhere else for that matter. I am fortunate to live in Canada, in a place where incidents of discrimination based on race are a very rare thing. Here is the question: If people of other ethniticities than caucasian stopped making an issue out of their race, would other people be less likely to perceive them as different? As an example: I've heard more than once (especially on tv) a black woman giving a pep talk to another including the phrase "you are strong *black* woman....". I'm fairly certain that if a white person would put emphasis on the fact that they are white or show any pride in it, they would be perceived as being white surpremacists! People should be proud of their God-given strengths independantly of their race. I'm not saying this would eliminate racism, but would it make a difference?

It is seen that women who r more self-centred enjoy respect & care from men, but women who care & respect their men r bounced back with disrespect & insult. What is behind this mentality ?

I cry over stupid stuff. Like the dead of a pet, or a person who I admire but never knew personally. I don't really weep but get teary eyed and sad. It depends on the situation.

Not saying that anyone is jealous of me, 'cause I am pretty sure no one is, but why do people get jealous of the people that get what they want and not angry at the people who gave it to them?

A couple of years ago, I was experiencing strange things. I felt that I was being watched all the time and getting strange thoughts/images popping into my head. I truly thought I was going crazy. Then my fiance at the time (who had actually been SEEING things that he thought were spirits at my hosue) started asking around and was told that it sounded like there was a ghost trying to possess me. I had a friend of mine who is a Wiccan priest come to my home to perform a cleansing ritual to get rid of the spirit and have felt better since.

Over the last month, I have begun to get the being watched feeling and strange thoughts again. Along with this, other things are happening. For example, I almost ran into my mohter in the hallway and then realized no one was there and she was snoring. The TV in the basement that we never use was on when we came home from a trip. I smelled perfume whenI was walking through the basement and I was the only one who'd been down there.

What gives with people who sob and wail at the death of a celebrity they never even MET, but don't shed many a tear over the death of a close relative they've known all their lives?

Perhaps the relative is someone they don't even hate and dies from unpreventable causes, and the celebrity leads a high risk lifestyle and blatantly disregards safetey measures that are available (like Dale Earnhardt for example). Or the celebrity died through no fault of their own, like Princess Diana.
