I could be better... I have my dissabilities and problems that keep me from being socially considered intelligent, but I make up for it with slashing wit and adorable charm so...


Besides, all it actually takes to be considered intelligent is the ability to memorize, understand and articulate. Big whoop! Children do that...

I like being a smart-as*s better anyway... it's more fun!

Of course, I consider myself intelligent because I am human. We are smarter than animals and that's why we dominate the earth.

If you're asking if I consider myself intelligent compared to other people, I'd have to say yes as well. Why? A few reasons:

1. People have always told me that I'm above average intellectually. My family and freinds have always told that I've got a good mind. And I was in AP classes in school and am now in college with a 3.8 GPA. Not to be arrogant, but they don't just hand that out.

2. I'm never come across something in my life that I couldn't learn when I applied myself. I think that is true of most people, but far too many don't have the sense or motivation to apply themselves. And I think that intelligence isn't just the ability to learn, but also the motivation to learn and apply of what is learned.

3. There is a part of me that is arrogant and egocentric. I can't help it and don't want to change it. Who wants to believe they are below average or even average? I like to challenge my mind, exercise my creativity and think that I have the ability to do great things. Life is more fun that way.

Well, I was told in the eight grade that I have an IQ in the top 2%. It has caused me to feel pressure that I must be good at everything. I almost wish they had not told me. I also have found that people have often told me I learn very quickly when attempting something I have never tried before.

I also have difficulty relating to people because my ideas are usually very different than the general consensus. I get bored easily and have trouble with tasks such as house cleaning etc.

I do not believe that a high IQ makes anyone superior, as there are so many qualities a person can have that makes them special. Everything has it's up and down sides.

My mind is like lightening, one brilliant flash, and it's gone! :)Seriously, I consider myself intelligent, on varying levels, and depending on the circumstances. I enjoy education, be it from a text book, or life experience. I can't give you the formula to determine the lift ratio for pistons, but can see blueprints in my mind. My learning process is continuous, and my desire to learn will stop only when I am dead....and I'm not entirely sure it will stop even then, due to my acknowledgment of the afterlife.

Yes, why? ..... Intelligence is basic, say it is raining, you know it and so do all the other animals getting wet. That is intelligence... knowledge is the key, as it is what tells you to come out of the rain.

yes. well, i took 6 AP classes at one time in highschool. jk. i only took 3. but i think im pretty intelligent. Also, to truly be intelligent you have to have "common sense" (as funny as it sounds, a lotta people dont)and "book sense".
i've got both!
