Can you help save the dolphins?

Today I learnt about the horrific ways the dolphins are treated in in Japan. You can see this for yourself at http://www.glumbert.com/media/dolphin

I have signed the petition to stop dolphin and whale killing: http://www.petitiononline.com/golfinho/

Will you please sign it, too?

Basically, I don't have to watch the Discovery Channel as far as big cats go anymore because all is pretty much predictable. The lion scares away leopards and cheetas, and female lions and hyenas go at it while male lions can scare away hyenas. Leopards, can be brave, but eventually will back down from a hyena and run up a tree and everyone can scare that sissy, the cheetah. I know this is accurate. But I'm wondering, if the Jaguar, Tiger, and Cougar were in Africa how would they fit in. Jaguars remind me so much of leopards, but by the looks of it are so much fatter and stronger. It looks to me that a Jaguar might be able to take out a leopard. Also, I wouldn't immediately say Tigers are stronger than Jaguars either as one would think. I saw a movie on youtube where a Jaguar killed giant snakes and all sorts of creatures in the jungle. Then there is Cougar. I'd say Jaguars could scare off a full pack of hyenas and leopards and would come behind the lion if they all lived together.

I am thinking of whenever people do those Bull riding contest and whenever people hold those red towells up as Bulls run through them. Bulls, seem to be very dangerous. I wonder however, how dangerous. Why did humans pick the Bull over other animals that look similar such as the Buffalo and the Wilderbeast? It can't be because those animals would be less fast and therefore not as entertaining. I've seen Buffalo run extremely fast to get away from a pride of lions (Why, they would at that size, I have no idea). I've also seen a group of wilderbeast who as resemble the Bull somewhat with it's horns and black body do the same thing. My dad told me the Bull is more dangerous than both of those animals so it's more entertaining to watch a human being mess with a Bull unlike a Buffalo or wilderbeast. I would think a Buffalo or wilderbeast is more dangerous just by the looks of it. They are out in the wild. Humans have never chosen to play games with them unlike the other animals. Why not?

I think birds' bones are hollow so that they are lighter and able to fly; in humans, our bone marrow makes our red blood cells. If bone marrow doesn't make blood cells in birds, then where are they made in birds?

Why have all the major countries of this world not brought massive trade sanctions against Japan and the other whale hunting nations untill they understand that this sickening practice will not be tolerated. It is utterly apalling that this behaviour is tolerated by any society, today. What gives whale hunting countries the right to deprive these magnificent creatures of life and future generations of people the chance to marvel at them. Is it because japan and Norway are not oil producing nations., or is there something else which I have missed. Or is it apathy on the part of the political leaders of the major economies of this world?.

OK, so this fox (the animal variety) from the neighboring forest showed up at my front door and wants to know if I would mind if she moved her cubs into my place since her den is flooded. I told her that I can't support more mouths to feed, and she said that she would work for me my guarding my chicken coop.

Should I accept this deal?

I found a wierd worm with a shell in my house. I thought it was a piece of woodbark until it moved. It looks like there's a little worm living inside of the shell. The shells are less than 1cm long and are beige/brown/gray in color. The shell is shaped like a football with narrow ends and a wider middle. There are two small openings on both ends. The head sticks out of both (not at the same time) ends and pulls the shell up to move around. Does anyone know what this is?
