Yes. I think you are confusing donkeys with mules, which are are the result of breeding horses with donkeys. Although this combination results in a living and breathing organism (the mule), the mule is not considered its own species because it cannot produce viable offspring. This is to say that either the mule is sterile, or the offspring it produces are sterile or born dead (or die shortly after birth).

So yes, a donkey can breed with a donkey, just as any other animal can breed with members of its own species and produce viable offspring.

Maybe you are asking whether a mule can breed with a mule, since a mule is a hybrid between horse and donkey.
Mules are almost always sterile. In extremely rare cases a female mule has been fertile with a male horse or donkey. There seems to be no case of a mule breeding with a mule, or of a male mule siring offspring with horse or donkey.

that is what they do most of the time ,that is why we have a lot of donkey ,they are wild in Asia and Russia
sometimes when they are in love with a horse they make mules ,but mules are infertile and cannot make more mules
to get more of them we need another liberal donkey

yes, there are donkey, and then there are mules, donkeys are a breed who can breed with each other, then there are mules which are donkeys whove been bred with horses, which the males are called jacks and the females are called jenneys, both of which are sterile
