I know this sounds weird, bu ti incubate Turkey eggs for some farmers. They are White Turkeys. It takes them 28 days to hatch. I turn the eggs 2-3 times a day like i am suposed to. But i dont turn them the last 3 days of incubation that way they can turn in the right position. And i candle them everyday to check for movement. All is fine, but on the day they are supposed to hatch, they never make it out of the egg. Why? They seem to die in the process of hatching. Am i doing something wrong?

Im not looking for a sabby emotional story about how you love your puppy and he loves you back. Is there any scientific evidence to suggests that animals are capable of loving something. I find it hard to believe that they do, evolutionarily it seems like love would be an emotion that was developed so that we would keep mates. Seeing most animals, there are some exceptions, mate with different mates all the time then its hard to believe that they can love this mate or that one.

I was wondering if such equivalents as down syndrome and autism were present in animal species as well, particularly in domesticated household pets.
