Because they are less likely to live to breeding age and if they do they are generly not healthy enough to fight for the woman plus they have a higher chance of being sterile!

They are less attractive to the other animals and albino animals have a shorter life span than normally pigmented ones.

Its mainly due to mate selection. A male or female will select a mate that will firstly ensure reproductive success and secondly ensure viable offspring. Albinism is recessive, but a percentage of offspring will display this phenotype and some will carry the gene (therefore they will produce some albino offspring). A female will not want to produce offspring that are conspicuous and likely to die.

Because most animals near the bottom of the food chain rely on protective coloration to avoid predators. A white squirrel or rabbit or mouse living among the dark leaves of the forest is going to become someone's lunch long before it is old enough to mate.

1. They are ugly and may have poor daytime eyesight.
"Ugly" means that a member of the opposite sex of the same species will prefer something that looks more normal.

2. They may be less camouflaged, and thus be more likely to be prey to some animal that will still recognize the oddly colored thing as food.
