To specify further, I mean a scan the likes of which could render a realistic image of what's there in various densities. All you would need it a weighted chain or balanced platform connected to circuitry sensitive enough to measure the minute changes that would occur over spots of divergent densities. Something that could discern the outline of, say, a wedding ring to a resolution useful enough to tell what shape the object is.

Say there is a 150 ton steam engine headed on way at 70 m.p.h. and a 60 ton Main battle tank (MBT) headed 40 m.p.h. the other and they collide head on at a combined speed of 110 m.p.h. Which would be me most recoganizable?

The locomotive weighs over 3 times as much and has much more momentum, but the tank is much more heavialy constructed for it's size than the train and pond for pound is much stronger. So what do you think?

But then the car starts rolling 10, 20, 30,....60 miles per hour. What is the pressure on the plate as the car accelerates towards 60MPH?

1.a physics student lifts her 2kg pet rock 2.8m straight up. He then lets it drop to the ground. Use the Law of Conservation of Mechanical Energy to calculate how fast the rock will be moving (a)half way down and (b)just before it hits the ground
2.A 65kg girl is running with a speed of 2.5m/s. How much kinetic energy does she have? She grabs on to a rope which is hanging from the ceiling, and swings from the end of the rope. How high off the ground will she swing?
3.How much kinetic energy will the 80kg skier sliding down the frictionless slope have when he is 2/3 of the way down the ramp? The vertical height of the ramp is 60m.
4.A rubber ball falls from a height of 2m, bounces off the floor and goes back up to a height of 1.6m. What percentage of its initial gravitational potential energy has been lost? Where does this energy go? Has the Law of Conservation been violated?
5.How much work must be done to increase the speed of a 12kg bike ridden by a 60kg from 8.2m/s to 12.7m/s?

It is well known that bullets and other missiles fired at Superman simply bounce off his chest. Suppose a gangster sprays Superman's chest with 3 g bullets at the rate of 100 bullets/min, and the speed of each bullet is 500 m/s. Suppose too that the bullets rebound straight back with no change in speed. What is the magnitude of the average force on Superman's chest from the stream of bullets? Ans 5 N
