A few additional aspects of the guitar's sound generation should be included.
First you can generate various pitches of sound (and simultaneous multiple pitches, i.e., chords) because of the multiple strings, and you can control the pitch from each string by adjusting the length of the vibrating part, which you do by clamping the string to the neck with you finger on a fret.
Second, the vibrating string generate overtones, which give the guitar its characteristic tone that distinguishes it from many other stringed instruments as well as woodwinds, brasses and percussion.
Third, and maybe most important, is the amplification of the radiated sound energy by the body of the guitar. If only the string vibrated, you would have a very slender source of vibration which would only emit a feeble sound. However the strings's vibrations are coupled to the body structure, both at the point of its attachment and through air transmission into the hole and directly to the thin shell of the sound chamber. It is the large area of this vibrating chamber that adds strength to the guitar's sound.

I can give a general explanation of the physics of the sound of the guitar. When a guitar string recieves the force of a pluck it vibrates because that is the only way the string can "get rid" of the energy it was given. (If the string was not fastened at both ends of the guitar the string would simply move a little bit to react to the applied force and it would not vibrate.) The vibrations of the string cause sound waves in the air. A sound wave is just a pattern of compressed air and decompressed air, or stated in different terms, high pressure and low pressure zones in the air. The ear senses these waves as sound. The greater the frequency of sound (the faster the vibration), the higher the pitch.

I dont be conscious of, its relaxing sweep choosing interior the air on the guitar, slapping and popping on the air bass, and blast beating on the air drums.
