I have to take 2 classes of physics within the next year or 2. Im in pre pharmacy program. Im just curious what people think ive never taken a physics class, Im taking chemistry right now and organic chem soon and its torture. I already took calculus, in which I receieved a high B, but I have trouble with the word problems in calculus or I would have gotten an easy A. Im good at Biology, im not bad at chemistry it just takes awhile to get some things, im good at math other then word problems. the courses are Physics I and Physics II.

Im not looking forward to taking them because I think they will have a lot of word problems..

A dropped cat always lands on its feet.
A slice of buttered bread always lands on the buttered side.
If you tied a slice of buttered bread onto a cats back - buttered side up, and dropped the cat from ten feet. Which side would it land on?

By virtue of the facts explained thus far about black holes no radiation seems possible from them. The new theory if proved true may probably unfold some myths about black holes. Can it lead to understand that there is something diffrent than the black hole assumed presently? Whether Hawkins based his theory on the observed facts or just a thought experiment?

I think it is both physics and Chemestry combined which creates understandings about Biology and Engineering. But none of them are spoken without math which is the Language of all science fields. But how will you understand if you don't know Literature (English)?

What are the leading theories of Gravitations. We know that two objects in space attract each other. But my question is about why?

1. as per quantum mechanics it is supposed to be 'gravitons', if this is the case, does it mean every object keeps emitting gravitons in all directions and when gravitons interact they tell the objects to move towards each other?

2. If we go by einsteins approach gravity is function of space-time-curvature right, if thats the case how does it work?

A ball is thrown from a building with the above formula.
at 1.5 seconds, the ball reaches its apex 100ft above the ground
at 4 seconds it hits the ground.

Is there a way to find initial height and initial velocity without using the derivative?
