If you can use glue you might be able to make a parachute with that but make sure you use a lot of crumped paper around the egg to cushion it. You should try some internet searches and see what other people have done. it's a common engineering experiment

The key is to construct the container so as to slow the impact on landing and absorb the energy in a crush zone so as to minimize the impact on the egg.

One way to do this would be to wrap the egg in plenty of wrinkled loose leaf paper and center it the container with the plastic straws after you slightly bend the straws in several places so that they will fold on impact.

The secret will be to get the crinkled paper and the straws to absorb the impact on landing and minimize the shock to the egg. The bigger the package, the better.

All I can suggest is to build a frame around the egg of the soft straws, which will absorb the most of the impact, leaving the egg unharmed.

The link below is a similar experiment using the materials you've been provided, and a lot of answers as to how others did theirs.

Hope this helps.

Yes.... You must use a turtle egg or any kind of egg that have a soft shell. We assume we can use whatever egg as the question allow.

crushc the loose leaf paper and put around the egg. use one big pease of loose leaf paper to coverup everything.

what about tape? how's this gonna stay together? loose leaf paper as a cushion around the egg. plastic straws around the paper and popsicle sticks topping it off. those three together should give enough cushion to save the egg from impact....

PS: you can cheat and put your egg in the freezer for twenty minutes. just watch it and don't let the liquid expand and break the eggs.
