I am not talking about numbers 123... because they theoretically COULD stretch forever, but they only go as far as they need to go, or as far as you can count them. How can space, time, etcetera, be infinite.

Let's pretend the idea of God is real, and that he had always been here. Ok, so what did he do for the INFINITE amount of time before he created the earth "6000" years ago?

What do you think about things being infinite?

I don't know if any of you are familar with the television series Joan of Arcadia, but as I was watching it tonight, 'God' kept referring to light as a consious being... as if it were alive. After turning of my tv set, I asked my brother to explain this theory to me, but he could not so I pose this quandry to you all...

What is the scientific argument for light being alive/conscious?

These are some of the items on my desk: a red plastic triangle, a sheet of white paper, and a sharpened pencil. The plastic triangle (ABC) has an angular arrangement of 30-60-90 (CAB-ACB-ABC). The segment (CB -or- BC) whose endpoints are the vertex 60 and vertex 90 is 3.5 feet long. What are the lengths of the other two sides (provide the proof)?

I've wondered this for a WHILE..

If a set of identical twin sisters reproduced with a set of identical twin brothers, and each set had, let's say 6 children...do you think there's a possibilty that out of these 12 children, at least one child from both sets would look identical to each other, or at least REALLYY close?...so they'd be like twin cousins...lol

Or let's say, in one set of 6 children, one of them is 17 years old, and amongst the other set of children, there's a 2-year old that looks EXACTLY like his/her 17- year old cousin when he/she was 2 years of age....So, it's like the 17-year old is watching himself/herself grow up (physically) all over again...lol

I guess I'm wondering what the odds are of this happening...

I want to get into photography but I dont know the science behind the technology of the camera. Such as which lens is best to buy and what it is used for, or what all the terms in reference to the equipment even means. Is there somewhere I can go or a book that I can buy that teaches me this?

If you want to cool a hot liquid, like soup for example, would putting an ice cube work? Since there is no such thing is "cold" and heat travels from something hot to less hot, then the ice cube would just absorb heat, but it is still in the soup. How does this work?

My family found a new petrifired log only covered with about 10" of spagnum moss, but leaning against the 100' by 30" through, rock log was a D handle shovel. It was 2/3s petrified. We left it as we found it, and I am sorry I do not still have a reasonable explanation to this. Have the tecnical Sciences not seen this happen yet? Id like a true answer to New Petrified wood, not burried or moved, and deep in an unlogged area.
